Christmas Day and the next few days

Christmas Day Payton was the first to wake up. He woke everyone else up!
The view before the kids got to their presents!
Josh and Mckinley waiting to go out and see if Santa came. The kids each checking out the stuff in their stockings.

Waiting for grandma and grandpa to hurry and get the turkey in the oven.
We had them each take turns opening each gift.

We even watched grandma, grandpa, uncle Michael, Sean, Brady, and Aunt Shannon open their gifts as well.

Everyone got spoiled with TONS of gifts!

Showing off their jackets

Mckinley loved holding Bren. She loves babies!
The last gift the kids got was a trip to Disneyland with their cousins.
Some of the men showing off the awesome shorts mom had made for each of them.

Once the rest of the family came the day after Christmas Day we were able to do our sibling and cousin gift exchange. Its so fun when we do this because there are just so many of us all crammed into one room. We all love it though.

One of the days the men had all gone off to Hula's and some of us ladies stayed back at the house with the kids. I decided to take the kids to the school to play. Tommy didn't have a jacket so he had to wear one of Mckinley's. He's so cute!
Scarlett, Cali and Rose all swinging on the swings.
Some of the older kids being silly and having fun.
Mckinley and Ella hanging with me!
Here are the 12 kids I took to the school to play.
Back row: Cali, Ella, Scarlett, packer, Madalyn?, Thomas
Middle: Benji and Olivia?
Front: Payton, Jaydn, Mckinley and Rose
Here are cute little babies: Millie and Bren
Camden had Mckinley this year for the cousin gift exchange so he got her this super cute San Francisco 49ers cheerleader dress.

Lastly, here are 4 little kids that are going to love growing up together. They will probably cause a lot of trouble, but they will be happy to have each other so close in age. Thomas is the oldest born in December, Raymond is in February, then Cedar in February also, and last Mckinley in June.
We had a wonderful Christmas at the Robertson home. We are very lucky because we got to be with 9 out of 11 of Josh's siblings. We got to Skype with Ryan and Tara who live in Utah, and we got to Skype with Kelsey on her mission in Taiwan. It was a blast and we each got spoiled rotten.

Early Christmas and Christmas Eve

Payton was not thrilled that we would not be home for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. He didn't understand why we had to go to grandma's house. He wanted everyone to come to our house. We tried talking to him, but he just didn't have a good reason. We talked more and came up with a compromise that would work for us all. We asked if it would make him happy if we had our own little Christmas the day before we left to go to grandmas and the kids would be able to open there gifts from under the tree. He was happy with his idea. So that is what we did. He had a special dinner on Monday night, opened the presents from under the tree. It ended up not being too amazing because Josh, Payton and Mckinley all ended up getting sick Sunday, Monday and Tuesday so there wasn't a ton of excitement going on. I felt very bad that they were all sick. It was sad to see them trying so hard to be excited, but they just felt horrible and had high fevers.
Opening their gifts
They got two toys, some clothes and shoes. I got a boxing set from my parents!
Payton got this from Josh and I so once he was feeling better by Tuesday morning he spent the morning assembling his legos. He did it all himself!!!
We got all loaded in the car and headed to meet Josh in Sacramento and then drove up to Oroville.
We spent Christmas Eve at the Aunt's house. We reenacted the nativity, we played bingo, we ate, and we opened presents.
Mckinley enjoyed helping Grandma Robertson play the piano.

Opening gifts
That night we went back to Grandma and Grandpa Robertson's house. The kids got to open their one gift which was pajamas.
The girls got princess night gowns and Payton got ninja turtle shirt and pants.

Christmas Eve was a lot of fun and we loved being able to be with Grandma and Grandpa Robertson.
