Visits with both Grandparents

We began the year off with a project for Josh's parents house. For christmas this year all the kids pitched in together and got mom and dad a sliding glass door for their bedroom. Dad has been wanting one for years. Josh, Kevin, Michael, Rob and Dad took a Saturday and went and bought the door and installed it. They had a window that they just took out and all they had to do was cut below it. It was a fairly easy project for these guys. They got it all completed in 1 day.
The before picture!
During some of the construction. We got really lucky because it was a beautiful day.
Josh was basically in charge of it all. He got it all organized and told people what was needed to be done.
Dad and Rob ripping the wall out under the window.
The finished project! It looks amazing and the men did a great job.
While the men worked on the door we went over to Kevin and Liz's house and enjoyed Ella's 4th birthday. The kids had a blast and played lots.

Liz had a pinota for the kids to hit.

All the kids getting some candy!
Tommy and Mckinley don't play very well together, but they try to. Tommy is a little rough, but thats normal.
They are not the best sharers either.
Even if they are a little rough with each other, they are very cute with each other. You can tell Tommy loves her and just wishes she could do more.
I can't believe this little girl is getting up on all 4's now. She is growing way too fast.
Payton wishing he was still a baby!
Playing at the park and having fun!
Scarlett is a blast to play with when she is happy. I love that she is so girly and loves doing girly things with me.
Happy Baby!!!!
My parents came to visit us and also their moms. We got to see my grandma's. Grandma Tani loved having us come to visit. She can never remember Scarlett's name, but she loves seeing them. Mckinley is her 5th great-grand child and she has 4 more that will be born by the end of June.
I love that both my grandma's are still on this earth. My kids are very lucky to know them. They are amazing ladies and I admire them both so much. I do miss my grandpa's a ton though.
My kids and their silly faces!

Scarlett is such a poser. She is definitely the princess in our family and she knows it.
I had to end with this picture. This little girl is just a joy! We are very lucky to be able to see both our families so much. We love it!

Life as a Mother

I really do love my life as a mother. At the same time is not easy! I tend to lose my patients with the kids and find myself getting angry with them. I yell at times and hate it, but can't seem to stop. My kids definitely know how to make me mad. They challenge my patience daily. BUT... even with these negative things going on I still love it and wouldn't change a thing. My kids bring a lot of happiness into my life. They can make me smile and I love when they want to snuggle with me. They are really good kids. It's just that though...they are KIDS!
Mckinley is changing and growing all the time. I love taking pictures of her.
She really loves her dad a lot. He can get her to sleep a lot easier now. It's nice that she loves him so much, it gives me a break.
Payton is a total 5 year old boy. He thinks things are funny, but really its annoying. He is the sweetest big brother!!! He adores his sisters.
Love these 3!
Crazy Face!
Still constantly working on getting Mckinley to eat food. She is so stubborn!
Why can my kids fall asleep anywhere and in any position?! It's the Robertson genes in them!
Scarlett LOVES holding Mckinley. I don't think she feels quite the same way at times.
Payton and Scarlett love having Mckinley in the bath with them. It still makes me nervous but we just watch her like a hawk.
Cute girly!
One of my favorite pictures!!!
Shopping at Costco is my kids favorite. When we get home and I unload boxes they think its the best to play in them. Mckinley enjoys it also.
Watching the Toutai kids. Cereal and smoothies for dinner.
My Birthday!
It was a fun birthday. My family spoiled me and we got to go to church.
All 3 kids took a nap which meant I got to take one also while Josh watched football.
Payton discovered that he lives deviled eggs.
Payton showing Mckinley how to play on the computer
It was a great birthday!
Lots of helpers
More proof we are trying to get this little girl to eat food. It's still not 100% successful yet!
My life is filled with the normal mom things all day. Cooking, cleaning, changing diapers, taking pictures, playing, and try to stay sane all at the same time.  I love it most the time!
