7 Years

It is kind of crazy to think that Josh and I have been married for 7 years now. It has been a very interesting 7 years. If I said they have been the 7 easiest years of my life and we are perfect, that would be lying. But I can say I would never change any of it. Josh and I have grown so much in the past 7 years. We have grown closer through every trial and challenge that we have had to face. We are not perfect of course but we both love each other more than anything. We have an amazing family that includes our two wonderful kids.

I wanted to do a little post that showed a bunch of different pictures of Josh and I together over the past 7 years. You can definitely see that we have grown over the years and we don't look as young anymore.

Brother & Sister Forever!

Over the past few weeks I have taken some random pictures of the kids. They are such a joy in both mine and josh's  life. They are so cute and fun to be with. They make us laugh all the time.
Payton is getting so big. He will be 3 in October. He talks so much these days. Both my mom and sister have said this past week that he talks so good they can actually understand what he is saying to them on the phone. He loves to do everything his dad does. We went and played soccer as a family last night and Payton would copy his dad the whole time. Josh put his soccer socks and cleats on and Payton had to do the same. I wish I had my camera cause he looked so stinking cute! Then Josh was doing push ups and I looked over and Payton was trying to do the same. It was a lot of fun.
Scarlett is getting so big also. She is almost 6 months now. CRAZY! I can't believe, she is growing so much. She is about 18 pounds. She is such a fatty! She has such cute rolls on her legs and arms. She grows through clothes like there is no tomorrow. She can officially sit up all by herself. She still wakes once a night to eat, but its only 10 minutes of my time total. She smiles all the time and is such a happy baby girl.
These two are the best and they love each other so much. Scarlett has gotten used to Payton always wanting to hold her and wrestle with her. She actually has just learned to put up with him.
Car washing fun

Payton getting Scar to smile.

So cute in her big brothers chair
Payton enjoys being naked sometimes. This will embarrass him some day.
Sleeping together

She wants to move so bad
Payton insisted on he and Scarlett both wearing their boots. They are just so cute together! I just wish I could get a good picture of both of them smiling.

We bought Payton these cute pajamas and he loves them. He found his boots and hat and had to wear them with the pajamas.

Oroville Fun

About a week ago we got to spend a few days in Oroville. Josh's sister and her husband came into town from Alaska. We got to spend a few days with them. We had such a good time.
This is Ella. She loves her cousin Scarlett!
Ella thought it was fun to stick her fingers in Scarletts mouth.
Scarlett is getting too big. She slobbers all the time!

While visiting we went over to Chico and went swimming at one mile. It's so fun! It's like a giant pool, but it's just a river that runs through a big cemented area. The kids loved it! The water was a little cold, but not that bad. We got to have a picnic.
Scarlett loves being outside, so of course she had fun
Uncle Brady playing with his nieces and nephews
Our picnic lunch, there was so much shade which made it really nice
While playing Jaydn and his uncles found a crawdad. It was a good size. The kids thought it was really cool.
Miss Ella being so stinken cute!
This is Madalyn and Olivia. They are cute twin sisters!
Payton enjoyed the water
The kids loved jumping to their uncles in the water. Payton and Carter were nervous, but still did it. Madalyn and Olivia jumped and swam all by themselves. They are such good swimmers.
Even Jaydn and Camden had to get in on the jumping fun.
Even Aunt Tracy got in on the fun. She helped catch the kids.
Payton enjoyed playing in the water with his dad. He got to be tossed in the air between his dad and uncle
The boys being so cute sitting on the edge of the water
I love this picture of Payton. He is so cute!

We also go to spend some time at some friends pool. The kids really enjoyed it. Its a beautiful pool with a little water slide built into the rocks, a diving board, basketball hoop, and a little tunnel.
Payton waving from the tunnel
Playing and having some fun
Some basketball fun. It was a rough game. Josh came out with some nasty gashes and cuts.
Ella seems to be the only person I am able to get pictures of and she is really good at smiling for the camera.

Sand Dunes and Egin Lakes

Near the end of our trip we spent part of a day out at Egin Lakes and the Sand Dunes. Kristas parents had brought some quads for everyone to ride out on the sand dunes.(I don't think I have mentioned yet, but Kristas family was out there for Megans graduation from BYU-Idao. Thats a big reason we were in Idaho.) It was a lot of fun. Payton refused to go on the quads. He says they are too scary and loud. He just wanted to stay at the trailer. After being at the trailer for a while we walked down to the water so the kids could play.
Payton hanging out with me in the trailer while people were out on the quads.
Payton really enjoyed playing in the water. It wasn't deep at all and they could walk out far and have no problems. We had brought these plastic cups for them to play with and they really enjoyed  playing with them in the water and the sand.

Payton started out dumping the water out on his head, but then started dumping it on Austin

Look at these two playing so nicely with each other!

Oh wait, but the niceness couldn't last for too long. Payton  had to start chasing Austin around while trying to dump his cup of water on him.

Austin didn't really love it!

Look at that evil look!
Payton really enjoyed playing in the sand/dirt. By the time we left his head was caked in sand/dirt. He was rubbing it all over himself. I figured he was having so much fun I would just let him.

Scarlett even got in for a little bit and enjoyed the water, then she slept for the rest of the time.

Before we were done for the day Kristas mom and sister helped watch all the kids so that Krista and I could go out for a ride. I have never been on a quad before so this was a first for me. Initially it took me a little bit to get used to it and I didn't go too fast, but I got braver as the time went on. It was a lot of fun. I was glad we got to go out even for a little bit.

Like I said at the beginning Payton wanted nothing to do with the quads. But right before we left I was able to get him to at least sit on one. It wasn't on of course and he was still very nervous, but I was proud he at least got on.
I would say all around it was an amazing trip. One I will never forget. The kids were great and I know they had a lot of fun. I am glad Krista agreed to take this adventure with me and my kids. She is really a great friend.  I had so much fun!
