Sunday Attire

As you can see Payton is just growing all the time. He is starting to stand a lot better and I caught him twice standing all on his own. These were a couple of pictures we took after church on Sunday. He just looks so cute.

Big stuff coming through

Now days Payton thinks he can do whatever he wants. Josh always says it's because I let him, and that's partly true. Anyways...Payton has decided he loves going up the stairs. Any chance he gets he goes right for them. The funny thing is he will not try to come down. He is too scared. He will just crawl around all upstairs and if we aren't with him he will just yell/cry for us to come and get him. We have some friends that live down the street from us and they have the same model home as ours. Payton has recently learned that if he crawls up their stairs he can find were they have all the good toys in Nicolas's room. He thinks it's so funny too if he find him crawling up and he try to get him. He just laughs and tries to move faster.

Josh thought it would be funny to put Payton in this box, at first Payton didn't mind, but when he couldn't get out he started getting mad.

Payton got another haircut. We buzzed the sides. He looks so cute now.

Things Payton has done in the past few weeks

All the pictures below this post are just random pictures of things Payton has done over the past couple of weeks. He is now 9 months old and just so cute. He keeps us going and is all over and into everything. 

I have to admit it was a tough 10 miles

Today was a 10 mile run. It only took me 1 hour and 53 minutes. I have one thing to say...very tough! I did make it though and am now currently going to do nothing for the rest of the day. When I looked at my pedometer and saw I was at 3.2 miles I thought this is going to be a long run. At 7.3 I was really feeling the burn in my legs and feet. But at 8.5 let me tell you I wished so bad that I was done, I walked in the door heard Payton crying. Went and got him...had to change his diaper right then...and while doing so my eyes were burning from the sweat and my nose was running. I just thought to myself...this is my life, forget about me and just be a mom. Luckily I finished with him stretch out and cleaned myself up. I guess though today was so tough because I didn't run all week. It's my own lazy fault.

9 miles down only 4 more to go

Today I actually made it. I ran 9 miles. It took me 1 hour and 43 minutes. I do have to say though that by mile 7 my legs were getting tired and when I was done my right knee was hurting. But, if there is no pain it wouldn't be worth it. I have 4 weeks left and 4 miles to go. I know I can do it. 

Our Cruise to Cabo San Lucas

For those who had no idea Josh and I went on a cruise over the 4th of july to Cabo San Lucas. It was 4 days 3 nights. Payton stayed home, and my parents came out from Utah and stayed with him. Our Cruise was so fun! We went with our friends Derek and Lynn. Josh works with Derek and they just happen to live a few house away from ours. Derek had asked us a few months ago if we wanted to go with him and two of his other friends. He said he had all these points saved up from his time-shares that he owns and he wasn't going to be using them. So he wanted to use them and pay for us, two other couples, 2 nannies, and his 2 year old to be able to go. So of course Josh and I weren't going to pass up a FREE cruise! It was such nice weather, we all got to know each other better and just had a really good time.
