Our day in the Sun

Yesterday we had some beautiful weather here. I got together with a friend and we let our boys eat and play out in the sun together. Mostly we let them so that she and I could bask in the sun. I honestly love sitting out in the sun. (it's a real addiction) The boys all seemed to have a good time together.

We let them have fudgesicles. They really enjoyed them, but didn't like getting washed off in the cold water. Oliver thought he would help clean Payt off with a baby wipe. It was cute watching him try to wipe Payt's belly off.

Payton loved the water. He had a good time getting wet and playing with his friends.

The first part of our backyard project

We started this project last week. We had some good friends of ours give us some red pavers, so we figured it was time to do something with our backyard. Our backyard was just all weeds and dirt. Payton is starting to want to go outside more and if you know me you know I love to be in the sun. So we knew it was time to do something. We rented a rotatiller and started going at it. That took Josh a few hours, but it could have been worse. Our backyard really isn't very big. We started working on laying the pavers. We made a small, but nice little patio area by the back door. We layed some grass seed down and we are just waiting to see what happens. It took as two days to do everything. The grass is slowly starting to grow, but you will have to wait for pictures on that till later.

Our Easter Weekend

Our Easter weekend was so fun. We got to go spend it with Josh's family and we had a GREAT time. Payton kind of got the whole Easter thing this year, but not completely.

He is just about a year and a half and we are enjoying watching him grow up so fast. He is developing every day and is talking more and more.

Sorry for the mis-understanding

We do not have a pool. Our friends down the street have a pool and we go there to swim.

Fun in the Sun

Things with us are crazy busy! Between us both working and Payton being a big grump I feel like I haven't had time to sit down and post on my blog, let alone anything else on the computer. But, last week we had some beautiful weather and we went out and enjoyed it.
