Every day living

What can I say...I love pictures, I love blogging about our life, I love my kids, and I love that I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
I would have to say my life is pretty simple. I am not one of those people that is constantly gone. I am home most days and enjoy that. I walk Payton to and from school every day. I am trying to workout daily. I have it pretty simple still. I try and do play dates once a week so my kids can see their friends from church and also so I can socialize with my friends. I have meetings for my calling every so often, but nothing overwhelming. Really most days we are home and I stay busy with every day life type things. My kids watch tv and play with their toys. I am trying more and more to completely limit tv in our house. My kids are way to addicted!!! This week has been a little more of a success. Payton is working on school stuff everyday and then they play with toys or eat a snack. I love when the tv is off more. I enjoy having music on instead of the tv. Payton and Scarlett still like to get in Mckinley's face and space. They are constantly in her toys or are playing on them. It's super annoying. I am constantly telling them to leave her alone or stop touching the baby things.
Mckinley is such a good baby. She lays on this toy quite a bit. She does fall asleep sometimes. That's not all that common because Payton or Scarlett are usually bumping it or running into it constantly.
These two absolutely love their baby sister. They still ask constantly if they can hold her.
Invading Mckinley's toy with her.
She even falls asleep in her bouncy chair every so often if it gets quiet and calm enough.
Many times you can find Scarlett asleep in the most random places. She is definitely her dads son.
First time being so big in her bumbo!
The 4 best people in my life! I just love my family! These kids look way too much like their dad!
Payton got this hat and mustache from Carl's Jr. on our way home from camping. He wore them the whole way home. It was very cute! Mckinley can definitely give a grumpy face.
Big smiles! I love that she is smiling more and more all the time.
My family. Someone is always making a weird face!
 More happy baby!
 Brother and Sister love!
Just 2 nights ago Josh was at scouts and the kids and I were hanging out at home. Mckinley was being good so we put her in the bumbo so she could hangout with us. Once she was in it and on the ground Payton and Scarlett were right next to her all in her face. I had to pull out the camera and get a few pictures of my 3 kids!
 Beautiful Scarlett
These pictures bring a big smile to my face. I just love my kids.
Tongue out and being happy!
 Mckinley's cute little feet!
Being a mom is a blessing! I am lucky to have these 3 kids in my life. They make me crazy quite often, but I still love them and want the best for them.

Fort Bragg

I absolutely do not love the drive to Fort Bragg, but I love Fort Bragg. Camping in Fort Bragg over Labor Day weekend has occurred in Josh's family for years. Josh remembers going all the time as a little kid. These last few years it hasn't been a set vacation, but I think there are a few of us that want to make this vacation happen every year.

Quite a few of us arrived Thursday early evening. We got camp set up and were able to have tin foil dinners. It's always a little cold in Fort Bragg, but its not terrible.
Thomas in the baby seat, Liz, Maddy, Ella, and Jaydn
We had I believe 5 different camp sites. 3 of them were right next to each other. The other two were just a few sites down. It works nice having a site or two a little ways away from main camp for those families that don't want to be woken up super early by all the little kids.

The nice thing about it being a little cold is that we had a fire just about the whole time. It was fun to sit around the camp fire and just chat and hang out.
Cousins enjoying a snack together.

Game playing. This family loves to play games.

Jaydn and Carter in the water
Going to Sand Dollar beach is always a blast! It was cloudy on Friday when we went, but Saturday was beautiful and perfect.

The game of ultimate frisbee
Payton and Carter playing in the water!
Ultimate frisbee is a lot of standing around and trash talking to each other
After playing and getting all sweaty hot the guys all lined up and ran into the water!

The water was really cold!

Glass beach is always fun and super warm!
Josh and Scarlett testing out the water, and Sean with his girl friend Kylie
Squirrels, Squirrels and more Squirrels...
these animals love eating food from people. They are all over the bushes. Of course our kids had to feed the squirrels. They loved that they would eat right from their hands.
Payton made this trail of cheetos for them to eat.
Everyone just chilling and relaxing on the beach.
Tide Pools! Always a hit!
Scarlett showing me how strong she is by picking up this rock.

The group across the way
Scarlett as you can see did not do a ton of walking on her own. Josh carried her a lot. I had Mckinley in the front carrier and she was a really good girl. Payton was a big boy and was off exploring with Jaydn most the time. He is getting so big. It's weird that I don't really need to help him or worry about him too much.
I am waiting to get a lot more of the pictures cause Liz has them on her camera. Once I get those I will post more. The weekend was a blast. We had an amazing time. Payton and Scarlett loved playing with their cousins non stop. By night time they were passed out. Taking the kids bikes was the best idea ever. They rode their bikes non stop. Josh and I were able to relax and enjoy the family because Payton and Scarlett were so good at just playing and we never had to worry about where they were. Mckinley was an excellent baby. She did get held the whole time, but it was fine. We look forward to next year.
