A Weekend of Celebration

This weekend was full of a lot of celebration. It was Fathers Day and Josh's Birthday. We had a really good weekend. Josh was spoiled. He got everything he wanted and more.
Payton actually took this picture of Scarlett while I was making dinner the other night. I think it's so cute!
Fathers Day morning!

Fathers Day before church. Josh and Payton love to wear matching ties. Uncle Joel has the best neck tie business ever!!
Fathers Day was a lot of fun. We got together with some friends and had dinner. She kids of course all loved it. It was very crazy, but a lot of fun. The food was great!

On Josh's birthday which was Monday we got to go to breakfast with Josh's parents, brought Payton home for a nap, went and saw Toy Story 3, went to eat, and then came home for cake. We had a really fun day. It was Payton's first time sitting through a whole movie at the movie theater. He really enjoyed Toy Story 3. Actually we all did!!
I personally believe that most movie theaters are chilly inside. So when we were all sitting there waiting for the movie to start Payton said he was cold. He asked us for his blanket. Josh and I just looked at each other and chuckled. We didn't bring his blanket. He's almost 3! We told him we didn't bring one but that just made him want it more. So I offered him Scarlett's blanket and she used my hooter hider as her blanket. It was funny!
I made Josh is mega chocolate cake. It was good and very chocolatey.
Josh with his kiddos!
All of us eating our cake and enjoying it.
Scarlett was happy even though she didn't get any cake.
We all did cheers with our milk in honor of Josh's Birthday
Scarlett is so close to rolling over. She did once on Sunday but hasn't since. She is almost 4 months old. She is getting so big!

Kelsey Graduated!

I am a little behind, but almost two weeks ago my sister in law graduated high school. It was really nice to be able to go. She is the youngest of 12 kids in Josh's family. I can't believe she is almost in college. I met Kelsey when she was 10 years old. She was very shy and quiet. I think she broke me into the family when that very first day I met the family she had me play 'Reach for the Stars'. I remember being very nervous and a little shy myself. I can't believe that was over 7 years ago. I feel I have watched Kelsey go from a little girl to a beautiful woman. She has grown so much. I am very blessed to be a part of the Robertson Family. They have accepted me in every way. Even if I am the one that gets blamed if they can't find what they are looking for. It's cause I do throw everything away!
Waiting in line to go to there seats
Kelsey Graduated!
Two very proud parents! Their baby is all grown up!
I love this picture because it is of Kelsey who is the baby of the family, Christy who is the oldest of the family, and Shaelyn who is Christy's oldest child and is 3 years younger than Kelsey!
Some of the very proud brothers!
A very proud Sister
Some of the family that was able to make it to the graduation. Congratulations Kelsey! We love you and are very proud of you! Good luck at BYU. You will love it.

So of course while we were in Oroville Payton had to go in the hot tub with his cousins.

Lots of little kids and of course grandma in the hot tub.
A fun little picnic at the park before our trip had to come to an end. We had a blast and sure were sad that Josh wasn't able to come with us. We missed him!

Our 2 BEAUTIFUL kids!

I am just in love with these two precious kids. Having two has been an adjustment at times, but overall I am enjoying them both a ton. Payton is such a good big brother. He likes to help hold her, get her dressed, and stop her from crying. He calls her, "baby, or baby sister". She usually smiles at him.
Payton is a crazy boy. He jumps and climbs every where. He is getting so much better at sleeping in his bed at night. He officially doesn't where a diaper EVERY anymore. He wakes up a night and goes pee. He has NEVER wet the bed since we stopped the diaper. He is a good boy, but just a little spoiled.
Scarlett is getting bigger all the time. She is almost 4 months old. She smiles all the time and laughs a little. She can roll onto her side and can go around in a circle. She still doesn't sleep through the night, but I am hoping within the next month we will get better with that.
Both these kids are the best and we love them so much!

We bought a cheep little pool the other day since the weather is getting nice. Payton loves to play in it. Scarlett is happy just being outside and watching him.

Memorial Weekend

We had such a wonderful weekend. We went up to Oroville for some friend and family fun. Saturday we headed to a graduation party. We had such a good time there. Payton ran around and played. He got his first bee sting while playing. It swelled up and hurt most that day, but he didn't complain too much. He was back off playing after 30 minutes or so. Sunday we got to go to church, played games, ate, enjoyed the kittens, and the kids got to have a sleep over at grandmas house.  Monday was a nice day of playing at the water park, eating, barbecuing, and going to the cemetery. We really enjoyed being with family. Payton loves playing with his cousins!!!

Grandma taught the kids a fun new game.
Ella LOVES Scarlett. Ella is always wanting to kiss her, hug her, and still loves to wave at her. She is so Cute!
The kids sleepover and grandma and grandpas house
Scarlett is getting so big and growing so fast. She is now 3 months old.
Payton really enjoyed playing in the fountains. It took him a while but eventually he was running through them instead of around them
Payton, Maddy, and Lilly playing in the fountains
Scarletts first time playing in the water
Ella was so cute drinking the water from the fountains. If you look close you can see her tongue hanging out trying to drink the water.
Payton and Jaydn playing in the fountains
We let the kids take their scooters to the park. They really enjoyed that
Grandpa, Scarlett and Josh
Me, Josh, Payton, Jaydn, Liz, Ella, Maddy, Lilly, and Kevin enjoying the hot tub
Shish-Kabobs! We Barbecued these on Monday. The kids really enjoyed them.
Payton's hot dogs.
They turned out really yummy. Josh an Kevin did a good job getting all the different meat. It was fun!

Every time we are together with cousins the kids ALWAYS have to switch cars. Payton loves riding with his cousins, and we usually get lucky and get a kid or two to come in our car.

Little Gray (the kitten) really enjoyed getting comfy in Scarletts lap.
Josh was laying on the ground and the kittens just couldn't resist climbing and playing with him. He didn't really love it, but if he had gotten up off the floor they would have left him alone.  So Little Gray climbed into Josh's pocket. The top picture shows the kitten going in and the bottom shows him settled in with his tail hanging out.

These two little kittens were found in the attic a few weeks ago. The family has been taking care of them. Honestly the Robertson's are not cat people, but these two little kittens have won them over. They are very cute and tiny, but a lot of work. The kids really enjoy them. I had to take this picture of them both sitting on Josh.

Overall it was a fun and exciting weekend with friends and family!
