My NEW Niece!!!

The Cambra family has officially gotten bigger and it's not just me adding to it. FINALLY!! On July 20th at about 3:55am I become a proud aunt of Sofia Marie Hinton. She was born to my sister and her husband. She weighed 8lbs and was 21in. She is the cutest little thing. She has so much hair. I got to see her on Skype last week for over an hour. I am super excited to meet her soon. Congrats you two!!! I am a VERY EXCITED AUNT!!!

St. George Fun!

We made a last minute decision to drive to St. George Utah for a few days to see my sister, and Josh took a day and went to Las Vegas to watch summer NBA games. He really loved the games. He was in heaven. He said he got to shake someone's hand, but I can't remember who's! Payton, Scarlett and I stayed with my sister and had fun with her and her husband. 

My son is such a GQ! He loves wearing his sun glasses! We went and got some delicious cupcakes. Payton is caring his back to the car!

Since it is like 106 degrees every day we had to go out and play at the splash pad!

Stef felt bad for Scarlett so she made sure to get her and let her get wet! Scarlett really didn't mind it!

So if you look closely you can see marks on Scarletts head. She got these from her dad. He went to put her on his shoulders and didn't realize the ceiling fan was so low. So Scarlett got hit in the head with the ceiling fan while it was spinning. Poor baby girl! She still has some marks, but they are almost gone.

Our last day before we left we got to go to the club that Stef and Dawson have a membership too. We went swimming. Payton really enjoyed the water!

I think Payton is a little big for these jumping swings, but he loved it and didn't want to get out.

Stef 2 days past due! She still has no baby yet, but will be induced Monday since she will be a week past due. She looks so amazing!

More Zoo fun! Micke Grove Zoo

Josh and I decided to take the kids to the Micke Grove Zoo in Lodi. It's a very cute little zoo with only a couple of animals, but with our Oakland Zoo membership it was free. The kids really enjoyed it. The zoo is located in the Micke Grove State park. It is a beautiful park. So much going on there for families!  The had water, the zoo, rides, lots of grass area, and beautiful picnic and BBQ areas. It was the first time the two of us had been there. We really enjoyed it and so did the kids. It was nice with the double stroller too cause Payton was able to get in and out anytime and Scarlett loved sitting like a big girl and seeing everything around her.

We got to go into this little area that has these birds enclosed inside. They were everywhere! Payton loved that one landed on Josh's head. Payton was covering his head because he didn't want any on him.

Payton HATED this airplane ride. It went round and round and up and down. I think it was a little too much for him.

Our last ride was on the train. It is a law that everyone has to be sitting on the seat. So this is Scarlett sitting. She's so cute! She and Josh rode together.

4th of July

We had a really nice 4th of July! Saturday we went to our friends house and watched the City of Manteca fireworks and let the kids play with sparklers, and poppers. Payton really loved the poppers. He really enjoyed the fireworks also. Scarlett didn't seem to care either way!

 Sunday we just got more sparklers and poppers. Payton really enjoyed it a lot. He liked the snakes! Then we watched our neighbors light of theirs. It was a nice quiet day!

The Oakland Zoo

This post just shows how behind I am on my blogging! Some friends and I took our kids to the Oakland Zoo probably about a month ago. We all bought a year membership for half the prize. We were excited to use it. The day didn't cost me anything except the gas to get there and back. Payton loved it! The animals were fun to see. The kids did a lot of hopping around between strollers, and wagons. It was totally a success and we can't wait to go again, and again, and again!
