Christmas Day began when Josh got home at 7:45am. The kids were just barely getting up at the time so it was perfect.
Sitting patiently waiting for me to get ready for pictures.
The girls went first and got to remove the blanket that Santa put over their gifts.
Santa left a little note to the girls that Payton read to them. It told them to look behind the couch.
They found this giant box with a picture of a barbie house on it.
Payton was then allowed to uncover his gifts.
Digging through their stockings
While I made breakfast the kids played with their toys from Santa. Josh worked on setting up the barbie house.
Payton began building legos.
Checking out the barbie house mid assembly.
Breakfast was ready to be served.
Cheers to a fun christmas so far
Merry Christmas!!!!
After eating breakfast we separated the presents that were under the tree and each kid sat with their pile.
Then we began opening one at a time.
Frozen Boots!
The kids each bought gifts for each other and for Josh and I. They got really excited when we each opened from them. It was fun watching their joy in giving to one another.
Scarlett was the most fun to watch. She got so excited about every gift. She was squealing, smiling, laugh, bouncing around and said she loved it. It was so fun to see her joy.
Payton opening his gift from Mckinley. Mckinley saying your welcome to him. Precious!
Mckinley really began understanding what was going on. She was so good about saying thank you and giving hugs and kisses.
The barbie house is complete
Payton's first lego ship all built. He insisted that I take pictures from every angle.
Christmas dinner was homemade chicken noodle soup and homemade rolls.
Twinner Elsa pajamas!
All the gifts the kids had gotten.
Payton spent the entire day building lego set after lego set. This is 5 different ones that he assembled just about all by himself. He loved legos and is so good at building them. I think the biggest one her got had 700+ pieces.
Christmas Day was a fun, relaxing and enjoyable day with my family.
