Cambra Wedding/San Francisco

Not the best picture, but I had to make sure it made the blog! Payton and Ada had a fun time playing out in the hail! I told them it was raining rocks! They loved it!

That weekend my family was in town we also enjoying a Cambra wedding and a whole day in San Francisco.
The Cambra wedding was for my cousin Jonathan and his wife Julie. I don't really see Jonathan very much, but he is right in between me and my sister age wise. We used to play all the time together when we were kids. I remember playing legos with him on the floor at our grandma Tani's house. My dad only has one brother and his name is Michael. He is a few years older than my dad, but Jonathan was his first child. Michael eventually got divorced from my aunt Donna, and then married my aunt Linda. She had three older kids of her own from a previous marriage, so we kind of got to know them a little but they were a good 5 years or so older than me. Michael and Linda had one child together and his name is Joseph. I am basically writing all this as a record, but also to point out that Jonathan and Joseph are the only cousins I have on my dads side of the family and also that me and my 4 siblings are Jonathan and Josephs only cousins, and my parents are their only aunt and uncle on their dads side of the family. So, going to Jonathan's wedding was very important to me and also to the rest of my family. I know my other siblings would have come if they could have.
We enjoyed the wedding ceremony at the Catholic church in Hilsburg and then headed to the reception after it was over. We sat around for a good hour before the party got started, so the kids were running around crazy and we of course were making our presence known. Being the only mormon family on my dads side means that we definitely stand out.
My mom and dad. They are just too cute! I am so glad they came. I know Jonathan and Julie appreciated having us there!
Jared and Ashley
These two are such goof balls at times. They have been married now for over a month and a half. They are very cute together!
My Aunt Donna, Jonathan, Dad and Mom
Ada my niece! She is so fun to have in our family!
After we ate dinner we headed into the other room to enjoy some dancing.
Really the only ones that danced were Jared, Ashley, Josh, Ada, Payton and Scarlett. I did dance with Scarlett for a few minutes.
Scarlett loves to dance, but she has to hold both of your hands. Watching she and Josh was very precious!
Jared and Ada enjoying a dance together. She obviously didn't want me to take her picture!
Josh had Payton running across the dance floor and then sliding on his knees. He was so stinker cute to watch. Payton loves dancing and being silly!
Ashley and Scarlett having a good time on the dance floor! The wedding was a lot of fun! I am glad we each made the effort to go! We are thrilled to have Julie in our family she is a great woman!

Like I said at the beginning we were also able to enjoy a day in San Francisco. It was a lot of fun. Ada ad Ashley had not been there before, actually Payton and Scarlett had never been there either.
We started the day off with a stroll across the Golden Gate Bridge. It was a little foggy in the morning, but then it turned out to be a super nice day.
My dad was a good tour guide director! He had a ton of different facts to tell each of us. It amazes me that he knows so much about the Golden Gate Bridge.
Josh and I, Also the whole gang minus me cause I was taking the picture!
Payton being a stinker about taking a picture with me!
Father Daughter moment!
After a while of walking the kids were beginning to get antsy! Ada decided it would be fun to lay in the bottom basket of the double stroller. She is such a silly girl!
Mother Daughter!
Our attempts at capturing a family picture!
My kids really don't like to cooperate!
Cute, Happy family! Jared, Ashley, and Ada and then we have Mom and Dad!
The kids were so tired at this point in the trip. They went to bed way too late every night and woke up early each morning! We walked around the wharf, ate some yummy food and let the kids sleep in the strollers.
Josh for some reason is not the best at taking pictures! He makes the weirdest faces sometimes!
While Payton was asleep the girls were still wide awake! Jared and Ashley gave them shoulder rides. Ada grabbed Scarlett's hand while they were walking. It was cute!
Family picture with Alcatraz in the background!
Our view of Alcatraz. It was such a beautiful clear day!
Ada and Scarlett eventually fell asleep also. Ada had her head on the back seat of the sit and stand and Scarlett was asleep in the front of the sit and stand. We were all so shocked at the way Ada slept on her knees with her head on the seat. I guess she was really tired!
After enjoying the dad in San Francisco we went to this restaurant in Berkley that my parents had been to over 20 plus years ago. It had some yummy sea food! We tried some cooked and uncooked oysters. Josh, me, Jared and Mom did not enjoy any of them. Ashley and my dad got to eat them all. Dinner was a lot of fun and a good way to end our amazing weekend together as a family!
After getting home from San Francisco we relaxed unpacked, played some games, let the kids play and watch TV, then my family loaded up the car and began their drive back to Utah. They figured that driving through the night was going to be easier! I think it went by fast for each of them.
All in All the weekend was so much fun! I love my family and really enjoyed the quality time that I got to spend with Ashley and Ada. I got to know them both a little bit better. It has been a new change in our family having 2 new sisters join the group. I think Josh and Dawson have enjoyed these last 7 years with them being the only in-laws. But at the same time they make sure that their presence is known and that we are all aware that they are not afraid to be themselves!  Stef and I are really enjoying our knew sisters and look forward to the last girl that will join some day when Josh finds her. The Cambra family has definitely grown a lot in the last 5 years! We are all very lucky to have each other!!!
