The next day after Christmas we packed up and headed up to Oroville for the next 9 days to be with Josh's family.
The kids played with their cousins and loved it.
Josh got to pass the fantasy football belt onto Michael this year since Michael won.
(thank goodness! I was not sad to get that out of my house)
We enjoyed many meals like this! The table was filled with lots of kids.
There was a lot of playing and wrestling going on all the time.
The youngest of the cousins.
(Bren, Thomas, Millie, Raymond, Mckinley)
That first night we began the chaos of opening gifts. We started with the cousin gift exchange, then had the kids open their gifts from grandma and grandpa Robertson, then we sent them out of the room and did the sibling gift exchange, then we each open our gifts from mom and dad. The whole process took over 3 hours. We definitely take turns and try our best to make sure everyone is watching each other.
So many gifts were opened that night. It was crazy hot in that room, there were about 40 of us. Clearing out the kids helped some. Even though I use the word chaos I wouldn't change a thing about it. I love the chaos. Its what comes when you have a set of parents and they have 12 kids and half the kids are married and each have 2 or more kids each. I love it all!
(Packer, Benji and Payton)
We spent the next couple days playing games, watching movies, playing iPads, playing at the church, going to the park and playing and lots of eating.
Scarlett using her cousins rollerblades.
Doing tricks on the monkey bars
Playing in the dirt and having hanging contests.

Lots and Lots of various games were played!!!
Anytime we got in the car everyone would fall asleep. Way too many nights of not going to bed before midnight.

I don't even have words for these 3 pictures. All I know is that they make me smile really big. Grandma and Grandpa Robertson got these little girls their jackets. They got them for all the little girls 6 and younger. This picture shows each of those girls between those ages and goes oldest to youngest.
Brinlee, Cali, Olivia, Scarlett, Rosie, Cedar, Mckinley, Millie
These girls all play so well together. I love that my kids have so many cousins their age. They will have so many memories of being together.
Even the 2 year olds need their iPad time.

A bunch of the girls on our last night in Oroville.
Cousin love! Not quite all the cousins but these are all the Robertson kids minus Cedar who is a Lewis.
(meaning all these girls have the last name Robertson and there are only 3 boys currently with the last name Robertson)
I believe there are currently 25 grandkids with 3 in 3 different moms tummies. By June 2015 there will be 28 grandkids. That means about half have the last name Robertson and the other half has different last names. I love thinking about all these facts. It amazes me. I am very blessed to be apart of such an amazing family. Since day one I have felt like a real Robertson. They are my second family and I wouldn't change any of them at all. Marring Josh changed my life for the better and I am forever grateful for that. I love Josh more than anything. I can't believe 2014 is over. The years are flying by. In January of 2015 I will be turing 31 and I feel like it was just yesterday that I was 19 and Josh and I were getting married. 2014 brought forth many challenges and trials but also brought so much happiness and joy. The Lord is definitely mindful of our little family of 5. We look forward to 2015 and bringing a new member into our little family. I can't believe we will be parents of 4 kids. My heart is full and my eyes are tearing as I reflect on this year. Being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is definitely the reason I have such a great life with some many ups and downs. I know who I am, where I came from and where I will go after this life. My family is ETERNAL. I hate dealing with my trials but each one is making me a better, stronger person and I can't complain about that. I have so much to be thankful for. Here I am saying goodbye to 2014 and hello to 2015.
