Payton's birthday week!

Payton's birthday seems to always fall during his fall break at school. This year his birthday was on a Friday. On the Monday before the first day of his fall break from school he and I headed to the dentist. The dentist had told us that Payton must of had a high fever or something when he was an infant because his 4 ADULT molars and his bottom two front ADULT teeth that came in have weak enamel. This meant that those six teeth are pretty much falling apart and when he is old enough he will have to get crowns on them all. For now what they did was give him some sedation so his body would fully relax and he wouldn't feel a thing, but he would still be awake and they went in and sealed one molar and filled the other 3 molars. His two front teeth are ok for now, but they will keep an eye on them. They filled those 3 molars because they were bad and they are hoping this will hold those teeth together for a number of years.
Once we got to the dentist they had him drink the sedation medication and then had us sit in the lobby for an hour for it to take full effect.
The first 25 minutes was hilarious. Trying to keep him from rolling off the bench, laughing at the things he said, watching his eyes roll around, watching his head be floppy, and listening to the funny things he would say.
Once he was done we came home and he was passed out for a good 3 hours like this on the couch. He did great though and doesn't remember very much.
My children are addicted to electronic devices.
During the birthday week we watch the Toutai kids while their parents both worked. The kids had fun playing together.

Another day we had a birthday party for Payton and for Ryan since their birthdays are a day apart. Payton turned 7 and Ryan turned 9.

All our kids! (Toutai and Drinkwater)

It's rough being 2 and 4.
The day finally came. Payton's birthday.

The majority of his presents were Legos. He loves legos.

Grandma and Grandpa Cambra came for the weekend to celebrated Payton's birthday and to watch Payton and Scarlett play in their soccer games.

After Scarlett's soccer game on Friday night we went out to dinner to celebrate Payton's birthday.

The girls enjoyed his ice cream more than he did.
Reading with Grandpa

Happy Birthday!
Throwing their sticky balls to the ceiling and waiting for them to fall.

Wearing her new beautiful dress that Grandma Cambra got for her.
These two girls snuggle quite often in their bed.
Scarlett went out and enjoyed the rain for the short time that it lasted.
Rooting on the Giants!
Mckinley likes to think these are stickers. We haven't corrected her yet.

Getting caught up

These 3 kids just melt my heart!

I got to spend a weekend with mom and sister in Carson City with some cousins. We had a nice, relaxing girls weekend.
I have the privilege to swapping kids each week so that we can each have some time each week to do whatever we want without kids. It's quite nice having her kids and when my kids are gone. Our kids just play good together. Mckinley and Sawyer are the same age and Scarlett and Lucy are the same age.
Being silly on the drive to pick up Payton at school
We enjoyed a visit with my Grandma Tani
I just love seeing how my girls are positioned each night when they sleep. Poor Scarlett is always squished by Mckinley.
On a Thursday night we went our good friends the Drinkwater's and Toutai's to a Dierks Bentley concert in Stockton. The pictures are not anything special, but we all had a fun time. It was nice doing something all together and different than the normal dinner and a movie.

 Just normal stuff.

Our family friends Barbara and Angela. Barbara was nominated Sophomore Duchess.
Angela escorted her out. Barbara really hated having to wear a dress. She is definitely not super girly.
This is the story of Payton's life!!! He is addicted to sports!!! He and Josh have two different types of boards and he is always sitting studying his iPad. Its super cute, but way too much for me.
Oh you know just being kids!
