Stockton Ports Game

We sure do enjoy doing things as a family. We bought a group on deal for a Stockton Ports game. We were able to set a date that worked for us and 3 family friends. We enjoyed the night out and enjoyed being with friends.

Payton in 1st grade

Payton started school last Wednesday. He is just growing and changing all the time. I can't believe how big he is becoming. He is now in the 1st grade. We switched school this year and got him into a brand new charter school right by our house. We are very excited about it and know he will love it. He's teacher is Ms. Reeves and she seems super sweet and nice. The school is called River Islands Technical Academy. The kids do have to wear uniforms, which is nice cause it makes picking out clothes each day super easy. I am just super thrilled because the class sizes are smaller and the school is very focused on parent involvement.
Payton's first day of 1st grade!
 Heading off to his class.
Found his desk in his class and got settled in.
We picked him up on the first day and he was excited to show us he didn't eat his gogurt.
 Ready for day 2!
Payton is super excited about having his own mini iPad. The school has given ever kid their own electronic device which is pretty awesome. They are very focused on using technology and not using a ton of paper. Its very different than any other school, but it is definitely a huge step into the future for these kids.
I received this sweet email from Payton's teacher in response to my email to her. I am thrilled for Payton and know he will just thrive.
