Back to Jana and Ben's

Once we were done camping for a few days we all packed up and headed to Jana and Ben's house to continue our fun week together as a family. I am sure most people would never even attempt to have all 38 people stay at a home that is average size, but like I said before the Robertson Family isn't afraid of anything. We will make anything work. Having all 38 of us in the same house was crowded and with only 2 bathrooms the showers were always filled. A few of the boys ended up peeing outside cause the bathrooms were full, but we all had a great time. Jana and Ben have the best little kids toy room. Its off the family room but made like a little cave where the kids can go in and play and all the messy toys stay in there. It was very nice to have a place for the kids to go. We hardly even noticed them!
The cousins all loved playing in there. Most slept in there at night time.
You can't have family time without a lot of games going on all the time. We all love to play games. Ryan  is definitely the one who LOVES playing games every minute of the day!
Luckily Jana and Ben have a nice size backyard. We were able to put two tents up for people to sleep in and still had plenty or room for us to eat out side, relax and also for the kids to play.
Scarlett loves any and all swings. She just wanted to sit in this swing and have someone push her!
Kids never stop amazing me. Payton thought it was fun to color his face with chalk.
Playing with the water toys!
Wednesday night we got to enjoy the company of Annette's mom, dad, and sister Diane.
(back) Brady, Kevin, Ryan, Sean (front) Josh, Grandpa  Johnson, Joel
Grandma Johnson, Annette, and Diane
Mal and Josh with Grandma and Grandpa Johnson. We always make sure when we got out to Utah that we take some time to go and visits the grandparents. Grandpa Johnson is actually Payton and Scarlett's only great grandpa that is still living. What a blessing it is for our kids to know some of their great grandparents!
After eating dinner with the family some of the kids went to a place called 'Jump on It'. It's a place that is just cover wall to floor with trampolines. They all had a blast!
Pretty cool picture of 6 different people doing a flip. Josh and I didn't go cause it was getting late and our kids need to go to bed. Next time we will have to go.
For some reason when Josh and Ryan get together they have to play this video football game. Its called Tecmo Bowl! They always get some tournament set up that all the guys play. It seems to last for days. There is always 2 people playing against each other. Here you can see Brady and Sean playing against each other. You can see Scarlett, Josh and Mal are all passed out on the couch. It was late, plus it's boring to watch. The men enjoy it for whatever reason, so I sure it will forever be a tradition.

Swimming at the Lake

You can not go camping for a few days without going to the lake and swimming. Swimming is the best part about camping. For me it means I get to lay out relax.
Uncle Brady bought this little kids swim vest a while back for way cheep. He brought it for one of his nieces to try. You decided Scarlett could try. The hardest thing was getting it on her. The vest was skin tight! She looked very cute though!
Payton enjoys getting into the water.
Scarlett usually loves it, but she HATED the swim vest. She couldn't even move in it. That swim vest was very short lived.
I don't ever get to be in very many pictures and I have no idea who took this picture, but I had to post it. I want to be sure my kids remember that I looked young one day!
Everyone had fun swimming and going out on the kayaks.
Priceless!
The guys playing three-flies-up in the water.
Carter and Payton playing with the toys in the water.
Scarlett being herself.
Payton and Jaydn doing who knows what!
Cousins playing in the mud!
Adorable!
Ryan and Sean out on the boat!
Scarlett and Ella trying to play together
All the little cousins over playing in the mud. They played over there for quite a while!
Scarlett thought she was being very tricky by filling up the little sand toy with water and trying to dumb it onto Aunt Christy. By the time she made it to Christy most the water was out and Christy would get a few drops on her. It was very cute and fun to watch! Scarlett thought it was so funny!
A day at the lake is the best! We all had a lot of fun spending time with the family. We even got to see Josh's cousin Sasha and her 3 adorable kids. Can't wait to go camping again with everyone.

Waterfall

The Robertson family is not afraid to do anything. While camping we decided to go on a hike to a waterfall. We all packed up our kids and began the hike. The hike really wasn't that far! The kids all did really well hiking.
We got to walk across some logs over little screams. The kids enjoyed that! Benji didn't need any help. Payton was a little scared so he held Josh's hand while crossing on the log.

Brady showing off his tricks! Mom being very cute and lady like. I love these two pictures!
Our happy little family!
Once we got to the water fall the challenge was who would get into the water first. The water was freezing cold!!! Josh was the first one in. Then of course all the other boys, and men had to get in also.
Brady performing more of his tricks!
Payton and Jaydn watching their dads, and uncles in the freezing water.
Carter wanted to come see what was going on also.
Payton found a worm  in some of the shallow water and showed it to everyone. He thought it was so cool.
The guys and boys in the water plus Kylee got in on their picture! She was definitely the first girl in.
Joel, Michael, Brady, Sean, John, Camden, Josh Kylee, Bryce, Ryan.
Then of course the ladies couldn't wimp out. We all ended up getting in also.
Christy, Shaelyn, Tracy, Kelsey, Jana, Mal, Shannon, Liz
The campsites did not have any showers so some of us ladies decided to wash ourselves in the waterfall. Christy had brought some small shampoo and conditioner  and then Shannon brought some large ones. We got to wash our hair and bodies. Even though the water was freezing it felt nice to get a little clean.
(Shannon, Mal, Christy, Shaelyn)
The pictures just don't show how really cold it was. We all got in and out as fast as we could. Washing our hair was a very fast process. Another thing the pictures don't show is that the water falling down fell very hard. You felt like your body and head were being pounded on. Over all the hike was a success. We all enjoyed being out in nature!
