Scarlett's Birthday

On Scarlett's birthday we kept it low key. We all woke up before Josh went to work and Payton insisted on Scar opening some gifts so we let her open a couple. During that day we just hung out and the kids got to play. That night We made homemade pizza for dinner. We got my parents and my sister on Skype so they could watch her open the rest of her gifts and to watch her eat her cake.
She got her first Barbie
Payton gave her these to little pillow pets. They are not officially pillow pets they are knock offs but she still likes them.
Hanging out with Payton watching cartoons
Loving her pizza for dinner
More present. She got clothes, dolls, a stroller for her doll
CAKE TIME!
She wasn't sure about the blowing out the candle
Yummy!
Payton even got in on the fun and enjoyed his cake!
Crazy Messy! She loved it so it's worth the clean up.

Scarlett is Our BIG 1 Year Old

I know everyone says this, but really 'where has the time gone'! I feel like I just brought this little girl home. I can NOT believe she is 1! The time went by way to fast, especially these last 3 months. Scarlett  has grown and changed so much in the last 3 months. She went from crawling to walking all over. She is now running. She tries to do everything Payton does. She climbs on everything, bounces on her chair, loves Dora, and tries to mimic everything we say. She does say momma, dadda, almost says thank you and uh..oh. She understands a lot when we talk to her. She loves her big brother Payton. She definitely can hold her own with him. We call her the sippy cup thief because if she finds a sippy cup she is all over it. She will suck it down especially if its juice.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY SCARLETT!!!
A year ago last night. This was me on the way to the hospital

Now look at this little girl!
She is a total girly girl!
She is definitely our little princess. Saturday she went to her first princess birthday party for her friend Reyna. She looked so stinken cute thanks to my mom for buying her this cute princess outfit for christmas.
We definitely love this little girl! She brings so much joy and happiness to our family. She has a very sweet spirit and our family wouldn't be complete without her.
We love you Scarlett and Happy 1st Birthday!!!

Weekend with Family

Two weeks ago we went and visited Josh's parents for the weekend. Payton loves going up to visit them. He really enjoys playing with his cousins that live in town near Josh's parents. Josh had a Friday off so we got to enjoy 3 days up there. We got to go and visit with our good friends in Chico Friday day and that was fun. Saturday we got to go out and play at the park. The weather was beautiful so that made it so nice!
Saturday morning breakfast, French toast
Scarlett enjoyed the french toast
After breakfast we went to the park and the kids drove around in the gators.
I love this picture of Ella trying to push her sister cause they got stuck on the rocks.
Jaydn took Scarlett for a little ride in the gator
Payton with Maddy and Lilly
Dad, Kevin, Mom, and Josh bringing the lunch for our picnic at the park.

Me trying to get all these kids to look at the camera for a picture
Grandma with some grandkids!
Saturday night we were able to get a babysitter for all the kids and us adults got to go out to dinner. It was very nice to be able to go out without the kids. This is Kevin and Liz. Kev got a little sun from being at the park
Mom and Dad!
Josh and I. All i have to say is Josh is really no good at take pictures. These are the 3 attempts we did and I am still not loving any of them
He has such little eyes that they looked closed a lot or he does a weird smile. I am very critical I guess!
This picture is ok, but not amazing! We had a very wonderful weekend and loved being with family!
