GI Joe

For those of you who know my husband then you know he LOVES GI Joes. He has a whole room all to himself that is fully loaded with GI Joes. He has been collecting them since he was a kid and he just loves buying more and more to add to his collection.
Ever since Josh heard that a GI Joe movie was going to be made he has been SO EXCITED. I swear he has been telling me the day for over a year. All his friends knew. It just so happened that his family was all going to be together the week the movie came out. So of course Josh came up with the idea that we would all HAVE to dress up as an original character. At first I didn't think it would actually happen. As July approached his siblings actually were calling him and asking him for help on their costumes. So August 6th 15 of us dressed up went to the movies and saw the midnight showing of GI Joe. We had a great time.
(minus the fact that I am a bad wife and fell asleep the last 30 minutes of the movie)
Thank you everyone that went with us. Josh appreciated the family support. It meant a lot to him to have some of his siblings, some in-laws, and some niece and nephews there with us.

Josh had a Birthday Last Month

Joshie celebrated his birthday last month. He actually had to share his birthday with fathers day this year. I felt bad that they were the same day so I decided to separate them. We celebrated his birthday a few days before and fathers day on fathers day.

For his birthday a friend of mine watched Payton so Josh and I could go on a date and it was so fun. He got lots of gifts and he is very appreciative of them. On fathers day he got his rotisserie for the barbecue and was very excited to use it and cook his first pineapple.

This was Payton giving his dad a big squeeze for his birthday! Josh got his nice outfit from my mom for his birthday.

I gave him this BRIGHT PINK shirt

The whole outfit my mom gave me. He looks GOOD!

Cute little Payton ready for bed

Payton got this horse from my boss and he loves it. He quickly figured out how to get on and off all by himself we were so glad.

It's been too long

Life for us has been very busy! Josh has been working a few extra days here and there, I am getting ready for girls camp, and Payton is growing, talking, and becoming such a big boy.

Josh's brother Joel has started his own business in Utah. He is selling neck ties! His business is called Neck Strings by Black Blag and he is located in the University Mall there in Provo, Utah. He is still working on getting his website up, but we will have it up and running real soon so you can purchase ties online through him. Anyways...So this picture of Payton and Josh is a show of one of his ties he sells, it's called the Joshua Tie.

We went to the A's game with our friends the Drinkwaters and we had a really good time. These are two of Payton's friends.
