Scarlett turns 5!

Scarlett is 5! I can't believe my little girl is growing and maturing so fast. She is such a joy to have in our family. She has so much energy, joy, spunk, love, compassion, and so much more. She is a great big sister and definitely is a good example to Mckinley. She is VERY smart and can do anything she sets her mind to. I am excited for her to start school this year. She is going to grow leaps and bounds. She is more ready than any other kid I know her age. She tries to read, can write her letters and numbers. She can count to 50 or higher. She has her own fashion sense, and has a mind of her own. She has figured out how to add and do some subtraction. She loves to play outside with her friends. She can scooter, ride her big girl bike, and can roller blade like a pro. She is very girly and loves princess, barbies, and dress up. She likes to help with my make-up and even can put some on herself when I allow it. She wants her hair super long. She loves painting her finger nails. She gets along the best with girls that are a year or two older than her. You would think she was the same age as them. She isn't perfect though. She is very stubborn and can really make me crazy at times. Over all though she is the most compassionate child in our family. She is such a great big helper! We are very blessed to have her in our family!

Kelsey is HOME!!!!

The day finally came. Sister Robertson (Aunt Kelsey) came home from her mission in Taiwan.
All 12 siblings and the spouses were able to make it to California to welcome her home at the Sacramento Airport.
The nieces and nephews held a letter spelling out Sister Robertson.
The first hug went to mom, but I didn't capture that. The second hug was to dad. This picture tells it all!!!
The first thing she said when she was EVERYONE she said, "Why are you all here!" It was moment of pure joy and happiness upon us all. Many eyes were wet from the overwhelming feeling of love and joy.
Then she proceeded hugging all of her siblings.

Josh giving his baby sister the biggest hug ever!!!

After hugging the siblings and the inlays the nieces and nephews got their turns at a hug from Aunt Kelsey
Just a huge group hug!

Talking for a few minutes before getting her luggage.
This is a great picture! Kelsey just has a huge smile and a glow about her.
The whole group that was at the airport to welcome home Sister Robertson! Missing just a few nieces and nephews.
Getting some pictures with Kelsey

All the siblings!

Mckinley crashed on the drive to Oroville
We got back to Oroville and celebrated 5 birthdays. One of which was Scarlett's

Ella and Scarlett LOVE playing together. They are a year apart, but they get along so great together. I love that they are silly and goofy and very much alike.

We even got to see Gus for the first time and we snuggled him.
