Little Grass Camping

For Labor Day weekend we headed to Little Grass Valley with Josh's family.
I like to drive to I usually do. These are a constant view from my seat. Josh and Mckinley passed out and Payton and Scarlett watching a show.
We were the first to arrive so we picked our spot and started unloading.
Family began arriving shortly after. Everyone was there by the second night.

We went a beautiful walk/hike with everyone. It was beautiful.

He had to climb up these rocks to be able to walk through this tunnel.

Payton definitely did not need us at all. We hardly saw him. He is the kid on the rocks in the background in the pink shirt.

We did lots of hanging out at camp, swimming, playing games, eating and talking.

We each got to spend sometime on the boat and the kids enjoyed it. Payton did knee boarding and Scarlett tried surfing with Josh.
Mckinley and Tommy just couldn't handle the long days out at the water.
John, Tracie, Liz, Kevin, Michael, Brady, Mal, Josh
We ended our camping trip with spending the last few hours out on the water then we headed home.
These girls enjoyed a slurp and made a mess.

2nd Grade, Soccer, Date Night, Shrinky-dinks

Payton started 2nd grade. Time just keeps flying by. He has Ms. Chapple as his teacher.

Scarlett is playing soccer and loving it!

Payton is very much into soccer and he got to move up this year so the field he plays on is a lot bigger. He enjoyed playing goalie and he is pretty good. Josh is the assistant coach for the team.

Scarlett team is the Ice Queens!

We got to enjoy a group date night with Josh's parents, Kevin and Liz,  and John and Tracie at the water park in Roseville
We all had a blast!
Afterwards we headed to BJ's for some food. We were all so hungry and thirsty.
Josh introduced Shrinky-dinks to the girls and they were watching them shrink in the oven. I honestly had never done them either.
