Scarlett's 4th Birthday! March 1st! The princess in our house turned 4 years old! Where has the time gone. She is growing so fast and becoming such a sweet little girl.

She is our princess. Yes she and I butt heads a lot, but I love her so much I wouldn't change a thing
Since we knew we would be in Oroville on her actually birthday we celebrated Thursday night. She loved opening her presents from Josh, Payton, Mckinley and I.
She got puzzles, a dress, a jewelry kit
A Sleeping Beauty dress, shoes, crown, purse, and gloves
A backpack with a barbie inside. Her big present was a new bike. Since she is an all star at riding a two wheeler we knew she needed a bigger bike.
Her face says it all! She was thrilled!!
Her pathetic cake was 5 hosted cupcakes with 4 candles on them.
She and Mckinley trying on her new gifts.
Friday night we headed to Madalyn and Olivia's birthday party at John's Incredible Pizza. The kids loved it!
The tine train ride
Bumper cars
Eating Ice cream
Playing games
Saturday (Scarlett's official birthday) She got to lick the bowl from the birthday cake we made for her. Mckinley loved in cousin Camden. This is a rare thing with her. She doesn't love many people. It takes her quite a while to get used to people.
Opening presents with her cousins!
A happy birthday girl!
We celebrated cousin Bryce's 14th birthday.
Scarlett and Ella being super cute in aunt Shannon's shoes.
We came home Sunday night and Grandma with calvin came to visit for a few days.
Scarletts' birthday celebration continued as she opened presents from grandma.

Grandma of course spoiled her with a hat, a giant puzzle, and a scooter. She had been wanting a scooter with only two wheels for many weeks. So she was thrilled when she saw that grandma had gotten her one.
Grandma and Payton doing homework together. Payton was being silly and wearing grandma's glasses.
Grandma is very brave! She lets Scarlett put her makeup on for her. It was rather interesting if you ask me, but Scarlett LOVED it. She was very proud of herself. She tells me all the time she does such a great job and Grandma says she's prefect at it.
We loved having grandma at our house for a few days. She spoiled us all rotten.

Part 5: Final Destination - Oxnard

To conclude our forever long vacation Josh and I decided we wanted to stay a night on the coast before heading home. We had found a beautiful hotel in Oxnard. We got there and immediately the kids wanted to go swimming.
Mckinley and I hanging out on the side of the pool. Mckinley didn't like that the water was warm. She is definitely not a water person. She honestly doesn't even like taking a bath.
Josh, Payton and Scarlett got in the water and loved it!
They swam around and played for quite a long time.
We did go in the hot tub for a while and all the kids enjoyed that. I really liked that!
More swimming around before being done for the night.
We order room service with the kids and they loved that. They thought it was fun having the food delivered to our room. We then watched a little TV then put the kids to bed. Mckinley liked the idea of sleeping with Payton and Scarlett in the big bed, but didn't last long at all once we turned the lights off. She ended up coming in our bed.
This was the amazing view in the morning! It was so beautiful. I love the beach!

After eating breakfast in our pajamas we walked down to the beach.
Payton and Scarlett chased the seagulls away!
Mckinley came with us for a minute then walked back to Josh who sat on the bench while we walked out to the ocean.
Payton and Scarlett running around having a blast!
Just a gorgeous view!
My silly kids!
Scarlett then headed back over to Josh and Payton and I walked for a little while more.
We walked back up to Josh and I had to capture one last picture before we ended our amazing and long vacation. It was definitely one of my favorites though. I hope my kids can remember bits and pieces of this trip. We had a blast!!!
We got home Sunday night. Monday morning we all headed in for our 6 month check up at the dentist. We all are doing good. We did find out that Payton has week enamel on his two front bottom adult teeth and his 4 new adult teeth coming in. They are hoping he doesn't have the same problem on his two front top teeth but I worry that he will. They say there is nothing we could have done about it. They said it was caused from a high fever or something as an infant. He will eventually have to have crowns on all those teeth because they will not last. Hearing all this was very rough. I felt like such a bad mother even though they told me it's not my fault. I just hope it's not too horrible for him! We told him that eventually he will have to get work on some of his teeth and he seemed ok. I just don't love the idea of it all, but I trust our dentist and know that he is in good hands. For now there is nothing they can do but watch them and try to prevent them from getting horrible too fast. We have to paint this fluoride stuff that should help keep the teeth strong every two months. We will see how it goes. Luckily he is a trooper.  The next day Josh went back to work and the kids and I started our day just the same. I was up getting ready and Payton was laying in my bed waiting for me to tell him to get up and get ready for school. I heard him get up and then I just heard him barfing. It was horrible. He wasn't fast enough to get to the toilet so needless to say I had clean up the carpet in my room.
The rest of the day looked like this. Payton laid on the couch, and then Mckinley got sick.
So she laid on me. About 4pm I started getting sick so the three of us just laid on the couch together. Scarlett had to take care of us the rest of the night. Josh worked all day and then had range from 5-9 so we didn't even get home till about 10pm. It was a rough day. I remember trying to get the kids to go to bed and me just laying on their floor while we sang our songs and said our prayers. I felt so HORRIBLE. I can't remember the last time that I had been that sick. Thankfully Payton was able to go back to school Wednesday while Mckinley and I finished getting better. Scarlett and Josh never really got sick. It was definitely not my idea of what I wanted to do after being home from vacation. But it too passed and we moved forward!
