3 Weeks in Review

I honestly don't know where the month of November went. I must have been busy, but honestly I am not sure with what. This time of year just fly's by! Nothing too excited happened over the last few weeks. Payton had school, the girls and I did our normal daily things. I try and take pictures every so often so I can document my kids and the life they live.
Playing football and basketball has been a knew hobby in our home. The kids love to toss the football and always want to go play basketball out in the garage. Mckinley is just growing each day. Her hair is growing and looks super funny when we take her pony's out.
Scarlett and Payton both love being the boss of each game. It's a constant fight with them.

Mckinley's personality is showing more and more. She definitely teases her brother and sister. She can't talk, but when they want her to do something she understands and purposely doesn't do it. She's a stinker, but super cute!
Scarlett can officially ride her bike all by herself. She loves to show anyone and everyone that will watch her. She tells people all the time. She's very proud of herself.
LOVE these two cute little girls!
Payton received a late birthday present in the mail and he was thrilled!!!
Since Payton goes to school every day all day I get to spend a lot of time with these two little girls. They really are good with each other.

Scarlett will never stop being my little princess. She is such a little goof. She loves jewelry, dressing up, make-up, singing, dancing, and just being a princess.
Payton is our stud! He is growing up into a boy and isn't a little boy anymore. He learns a lot from school and some of the things he says or does we ask him where he learned that. It's always from school. He is such a wonderful brother to his little sisters. He adores them both, even if at times he says Mckinley is his favorite. (we know this is because she doesn't yell at him or bug him the same way Scarlett does) Just give her a year and he will feel the same about them both.
The kids had been begging me all week to take them to play tennis and basketball at the park. We finally went as a family on a Saturday.
The weather was beautiful and the kids had a blast!

Scarlett dropped her dads ipad on the tile floor and cracked the screen really bad. I had her make a note for him. I wrote it out in pencil and she traced it with a purple crayon. I was very surprised at how well she traced it. She is always learning knew things!
We had our first real rainy day a while back. The kids loved it! I loved it also!

Mckinley loved playing outside. She didn't really go into the rain, but she played under the patio covering.

Rain gear is just the best!
Sundays are always a day of relaxation for Josh and I. I love that I do nothing! The kids on the other hand seem to get wild and silly on Sundays.

Lastly I just love sleeping pictures of my kids. They just look so peaceful and calm. All three of them really are a blessing in our lives and we love them to pieces.

Weekend Visitors

We love having family in town. My mom and dad were able to come and visit us for a few days over the weekend. It was nice having them here. We don't get the privilege of having just them very often. My kids just adore all their grandparents and they are completely spoiled by them all.
We enjoyed a lot of relaxing time together. Payton was able to show them his soccer videos which he loved doing. Mckinley took a day or so to get used to grandma and grandpa but she finally did and would let them hold her.
Friday we were able to spend time with both my grandmas. Grandma Tani came out to the house in the morning with Ann. We were able to do lunch and just hang out. Then that evening we were able to go to Grandma Sam's house and have dinner with her and my cousin Melanie. We surprised her and decided to celebrate grandmas birthday early since its not till the 5th. It was a fun day and the kids were definitely tired for the drive home.
Mckinley LOVES books. Any chance she gets she is usually sitting on the ground in the books or trying to get someone to sit and read to her. Payton is ready better and better all the time so its fun when he is willing to help read to her also.
Grandpa reading to Mckinley
Saturday we went to brunch then the kids insisted on going bowling so we gave in and decided to go.
My kids love going bowling. We hardly ever go, so I sure that helps build up the excitement of it.

Mckinley even tried to join in on the fun.
That evening we just relaxed at the house and played some games. We loved having grandma and grandpa here at our house. It so fun spending time with my parents. I love them tons and love that my kids get to spend time with them.

Pumpkin Carving and Halloween

Pumpkin carving is not my favorite thing in the world to do. I don't like the sliminess and I don't love cutting the faces out because I am no good at it and I always break the little tool half way through.
The kids still are not very good at cleaning out the pumpkins so Josh and I had to help them.
Mckinley didn't like putting her hand inside either. I guess my kids are just too much like me in this way.

Payton was probably the best helper. He's getting older so that always helps.
Josh carved Payton's and Scarlett's while I did Mckinley's. I did my own and Josh did his own while sitting on the couch watch the Kings game.
Scarlett and Mckinley got bored and went and played on the iPad.
All our pumpkins carved!
Mal: Owl, Payton: Ninja Turtle, Scarlett: Snow White
Mckinley: Crown, Josh: Man with no head
Halloween we had 3 different family friends come over to our house and we all went trick or treating with the kids. The kids love doing this like this with the friends.
All the kids! 10 kids and 8 Adults. It was a lot of fun!
Josh and I! Best, most comfortable costumes ever!
