FHE at the Farm

We decided since it was 4 days before Halloween that we had better get some pumpkins. We took the kids over to the Dell Osso Farm for Family Home Evening on Monday night. The kids loved playing on the tire mountain!
Payton showing off how much bigger he is than his sisters since he can jump off the tires.

Trying to get the 3 of them to pose for me on the tire! Scarlett and her poses crack me up!

Josh with his girls!
Each of us with the kids while we waited in the line to go on the scarecrow ride to see Payton's class display.
On the ride ready to go!
Payton's school joined in the scarecrow contest at the farm. Each class got a little area that they had to put up some kind of display. His class did Monsters Inc. There were 40 different entries into the contest from his school and other organizations in the community. They had every person that went on that ride throughout the whole month vote for their top 4. His class won 2nd place for their display, they were so excited!
Enjoying the train ride!
Last we each picked out a pumpkin and then headed home. Scarlett was being a stinker at this point and wouldn't be good for a picture. It was getting chilly and the kids were hungry and tired. Overall it was a fun FHE and it was fun to see the joy on Payton's face when he showed us his class display.

Trunk or Treat!

Who doesn't love the church Trunk or Treat party? My kids love it.
Mckinley was Love Alot's Care Bear She was SO cute!
The kids went from game to game and enjoyed playing each thing and getting a treat.
Scarlett was a pink power ranger and Payton was Michaelangelo ninja turtle.
They tried eating a donut off a hook without using their hands. Very entertaining!

They walked in the costume parade!

Josh and I were care bears also. I was Share Bear and Josh was Grumpy Bear. We had a good time at the trunk or treat!

This and That...

Life just keeps going and sometimes I feel like I just can't catch up with it. October is a super busy month. I am the cause of the crazy life, but its just too much fun and I don't want to miss anything.
Mckinley likes to eat noodles. She will try and steal them from anyone that will share with her.
Scarlett has learned how to ride a bike without training wheels! This girl never stops amazing me. She just puts her mind to anything and she can do it. It's a great quality she has. She makes us proud.
The first day she could barley steer the bike, day 2 she was a little wobbly but was getting it. She couldn't brake or start on her own. The 3rd day she could do it all on her own.
I love the moments when my kids play so well together. Mckinley just loves both Payton and Scarlett.  She loves giving kisses!
Homework in the backyard!
Mckinley just being herself!
Enjoying the snuggling time with Mckinley. This doesn't happen often enough!
Lots of loves and kisses!

This 1 year old thinks she's big enough to be in a big girl carseat. Sorry Kin thats not the case!
Picking up Payton every day from school always comes with either a happy Scarlett or a grumpy Scarlett. Mckinley is usually always tired at this point!
Just enjoying an apple!
Being a princess is a lot of work and requires a lot of accessories!
Just putting together mine and Josh's costume's for Halloween.
Payton enjoying a late birthday present from grandma and grandpa Robertson. Sometimes I think just getting a box in the mail and it being a day or two after your birthday makes the present you get that much better!

Finally starting to get things on the walls in our house and making it feel more like a home.
