Utah Part 1

We got to enjoy about 10 days in Utah. It was so much fun being able to see all of our family! We began the trip off by driving to Hollister and watching my niece and nephew (Eggers family) in their school play. They were amazing! The kids stayed with a babysitter at their cousins house and Josh and I were able to go and enjoy the show. We then left their house that night and drove all the way to St George Utah. We didn't get their until around 9am since we left so late, but it was worth it.
The day we got their was Dawson's birthday. We celebrated by going out to eat and then having cake back at the house.
Birthday Boy!
Mckinley wasn't much into the birthday hats.
Stef and I went to the church for a little primary service project that she was part of so we took Mckinley with us. The enjoyed the walk but was done after. We gave her a chocolate chip cookie so that she would be happy. She did enjoy that, but made a huge mess.
Auntie Stef with the kids!
Sofia and Scarlett just cant make it through the day without a nap. They are so cute together.
The girls love that they have matching pajamas. Payton is so good with the girls. He calls them the little girlies!
Cousins!
After spending a few days in St George we headed to Elmo, Utah to visit grandma and grandpa with Calvin. Payton showed them how smart he is getting.
Scarlett colored with grandma.
Mckinley bugged Calvin. He didn't love it, but she did.
We went to a really cool dinosaur park with grandma and grandpa for lunch one day.
Payton climbed the little rock wall
Everyone played on the tire swing.
Mckinley really enjoys the swing.
After the park we headed back to grandma and grandpas house and the kids got to ride the pony. They got apples from inside so they could feed the horse.
Payton was a little nervous about riding the pony, but he got over that and actually rode the pony. Scarlett wasn't nervous. She is definitely a little braver than Payton.
Scarlett and the pony
Payton and the pony
Since they are both still small grandpa walks the horse while they ride.
Photo opportunity for Mckinley. She didn't ride, but she got to sit on the pony
Grandpa even let Payton help walk or trot with the horse while Scarlett rode.
Proof Mckinley sat on the pony by herself for a little bit.
Scarlett has her dad wrapped around her finger. She is definitely the little princess
(aka little brat at times)
The kids wanted so bad to sleep in grandma and grandpas little camping trailer. Josh had a sleep over with the kids one night it the camper. The kids loved it and thought it was the best thing ever. Mckinley and I slept in the warm house on a good bed.
After being in Elmo for a few days we headed up to Pleasant Grove Utah to stay with my brother Jared and his family. Ashley made us dinner and we enjoyed just visiting with them. We slept there and let the kids color easter eggs with Ada since we didn't get a chance to do that before going out of town. We got to check out their new house and the kids loved playing with cousin Ada. Being able to see all my family the first half of our trip was a blast. We loved every minute of it.
(sorry Danny, Jacie, Jared and Ashley I didn't take any pictures of you guys)

Events in our lives

Payton's spring pictures from kindergarten. He is become such a dude. I love this boy!
Mckinley is officially into everything. She loves crawling all over the house and getting into what ever she can.
Our angel at 8 months
Payton lost his first tooth on March 20th. I had him tug on it a few times, but he couldn't so he let me try a couple times. At the time I was folding laundry and I just couldn't get a good grip. I put a sock on my hand and pulled it out. He was a little shocked, but said it didn't hurt. The one next to it is loose also.
His first baby tooth is out
My kids love to swing. Whenever we go to Melanie's house they always want to be pushed on the swing. Mckinley has even fallen asleep a few times in the swing.
The girls and their dolls. Having mornings with just these 2 is fun. We have been crazy busy lately so I haven't got to play with them as much as I would like, but I love when I get to do girly things with them. Scarlett tries to include Mckinley when she can, but its hard cause Mckinley just eats all Scarlett's toys. I love these little girls!

Scarlett 3rd Birthday

Scarlett turned 3 on March 1st. We celebrated her birthday the day before since I was going to be out of town on her birthday. Her choice for dinner was meatballs. What a silly girl. On the day of her actual birthday Josh took her and Payton to McDonald's so they could play in the play-place.
She loved opening her presents of course. She is a total girly girl and loves dresses and princess.
Payton was trying so hard not to help, but thats rough for a 5 year old. He was just so excited for her to see the gifts that we had bought for her.
This picture shows it all. He face is priceless. She was so thrilled with just about every gift.
Leading up to her birthday we constantly were asking her what she wanted. The other thing that she wanted the most was a Dora PS3 game. Well we could not find one. The night before Josh had the thought to look on the playstation store on line on the playstation and we happened to find one. It just downloaded straight to the playstation so we had no case for it. She finished opening all her gifts and we began asking her if she got everything she wanted. She then got a sad look on her face and said no she didn't get a Dora 'bideogame'. I kind of played into that a little much and she began burying her face and just about started to cry. I was doing all this while Josh was slowly pulling up the game on the playstation. We then told her to look at the TV. It took her a little bit, but she got over being sad and was thrilled that she got the one thing she wanted.
Our little princess.
She requested purple frosting and cupcakes.
Mckinley loved the cupcakes.
The 3 birthday cuties! It has been become a yearly tradition that we get together with our two good friends and have a birthday party. We each have a kid with a birthday all within a couple days of each other.  This year we went to Round Table pizza buffet for dinner. Since it was family night at Round Table they face painting and different crafts that they kids could do. The kids loved it and each got their face painted. Then we headed back to the Toutai's house for presents and cupcakes.
