December part 1

December was a month full of so much fun, family, and travel.
We began our month by buying a christmas tree at the Dell Osso Farm. We got pizza for dinner and had a picnic in the car before heading out to pick out our tree.
We walked around for a little bit before we picked the perfect tree. It was a little cold, but Mckinley stayed bundled up with me so it was no big deal. The kids posed at the various picture stands.
Payton and Scarlett being a part of the christmas tree!
Scarlett trying to sit on the sleigh. Little did she know you can't sit on it, it's just a piece of wood painted.
Payton and Scarlett picked the tree!
We got the tree home josh worked on getting it prepped for the stand
Payton made sure he was a part of getting the tree secure int he stand. I love this picture of their legs popping out from under the tree.
We decided we would just decorate the tree, but not get all the other christmas decorations out since it was already late. Josh got the lights all on and the kids helped with the ornaments. It turned out perfectly!
Mckinley just hanging with her dad
The next day while Josh was at work the kids and I worked on getting the rest of the christmas decorations out. The kids found the playskool nativity and loved playing with it.
Mckinley was still practicing sitting on her own. Still not the best at it.
Payton set this all up. He did a very good job. Mckinley was done sitting there. She didn't want to play anymore.
Mckinley playing with her cute little toes while sitting on the counter. Josh and Scarlett dancing around the family room. Scarlett loves to dance!!
Payton and Scarlett loving on their little sister. She is very loved!
Scarlett showing off her amazing outfit she insisted on wearing
We had a few rainy ad really windy days. We tend to get a lot of tumble weeds in our driveway. These ones were huge and blocking our garbage cans. They even nocked 2 of them over.
We love our sleeping baby!
Josh knows I collect nativities so he found this cute rubber ducky one online and had to buy it. The kids  also loved it.
Josh and I were able to go on a date night and finish our christmas shopping. He is such a stud! Good thing he is mine forever!
We celebrated the 1 year of losing a friend. Her family asked anyone that could to wear yellow since this was her favorite color. They also asked people to get yellow balloons and write on them and send them into the sky at 3:10pm since she would be turning 31 this year. Krista, Melanie and I got together that day and those things in loving memory of Emily Brady.

The new ornaments that I ordered for this year.
Lots and lots of attempts at getting Mckinley to try and eat. This little girl refuses to eat anything.
Even though she didn't really eat anything she was able to get herself very messy!
Having so relaxing time as siblings on the couch.
Sleepy girl!
I let the kids paint some blocks for their cousin Sofia.
Our princess!
Our handsome dude!
Our beautiful angel!
Family time on the couch while watching TV together.
Our family Christmas picture for 2012
Making piles of the leaves and then making a mess of them. They loved it!
Our almost 6 month old!
We spent an evening with our friends and went and saw the christmas lights at the Oakland Temple. It was beautiful. This is a yearly tradition that we have done with our friends.

Love!

We love to see the temple!
Justing being at the temple is so peaceful! So grateful that my kids get to go and walk the temple grounds.
We sure do love these silly kids!
Scarlett always poses and wants me to take her picture!
Mckinley is starting to be a lot better at her hand coordination. She can pick up things and of course put them in her mouth.
It was a super busy month and the next half will be all about our family time and travels.
