Our life the last month or so!

Many of our days are spent at home in our pj's all day! We usually dont get dressed unless there is somewhere we need to be. We do go to the park about once a week with friends. Once Payton starts kindergarten in August everything will change and I am not sure that I am ready for that, but we will make the change.
Payton and Scarlett love to pull the pillows off the couches and jump onto them! They think its the funnest thing ever! I probably say a good 10 times 'be careful someone is going to get hurt'. Even with me saying that they ignore me and keep having fun! Someone doesn't always get hurt, but once in a while they do! Hearing their laughs and giggles is very special and I enjoy listening to them playing so well together.
Payton of course teaches Scarlett everything! She does anything Payton does!
One day these two sillies were out playing in the water. They both came running in the house saying they were cold so they went upstairs together and changed their clothes. They came down and Payton tells me that he helped get Scarlett get some clothes. He also then tells me that he was letting Scarlett wear some of his clothes. She had some of is underwear and pj's. Anytime my kids go and get themselves dressed they put on pj's. They love to be comfertable!

A few Friday's ago when Josh got off work we had decided to take the kids for a bike ride to the park. They loved it! Scarlett and Payton are both improving so much at riding their bikes. The goal this summer will be to teach Payton to ride his bike with no training wheels.
On the bike ride/walk to the park Josh and I talked about how it is so nice to have them both be able to ride their bikes all by themselves. Our kids are getting so big, very quickly and are becoming less and less dependent on Josh and I. It's a little weird! We are definitely enjoying it and soaking all the little bit of freedom we get until this baby is born in July. We all know life will not be as easy!
We got to the little train park and the kids had a blast playing and running around together. They would continually say to us, "look mom, or look dad'.
Right before we left they played in the volleyball sand area! Payton rolled around in it for a while, but Scarlett just stomped around!
The week before Jared and Ashely's wedding my brother Josh came to visit for the week. It was his schools spring break. He rode the train from Salt Lake Utah to Scarmamento California. He said it was a lot of fun, and he would totally do it again! While he was with us we crafted a few things I needed to finish before the wedding, we ate yummy food, he helped fix any little thing that wasn't properly working, and he played lots of games with Scarlett and Payton. He showed Payton that on the back of the cereal box their was a batman mask that you could cut out. Josh helped him cut it out and they put a string on it. He went and got his cape out to wear. He loved it!
Payton with Unlce Josh!
We loved having a bunch of days to spend with Josh. Like I have said many of times we love having family come and visit. I had a blast spending time with Josh. Having one on one time with each of my siblings doesn't happen very much, but when it does I love it! My kids love all the special attention they get!!!
About a week ago we went on a group date night with some friends. We had all the kids stay at Krista and Justin's house and Mariah came and watch all 7 of our kids, 6 and yonger. The kids loved every minute of it!!! 6 of them were even asleep when we got home. We enjoyed dinner at Red Robin and then headed to the movie theaters and watched The Hunger Games. We had a great time together. We didn't get a picture of the men, but I promise they came!
This last week was a long week for us. Scarlett has been trying to learn to live without a pacifire. There is a lot of whinning going on every day! So in a desperate attempted to try and make for less whinning we got out the finger paints and painted a bunch of Easter pictures. I did a few Easter crafts myself. It was a success for a few hours!
The kids really enjoyed getting paint on everything!
They painted a lot of pictures.
They were very excited to show Josh all their pictures once he came home from work!
These last few weeks have been fun and tough all at the same time. Watching these two growing and changing every day is very rewarding! We love these two little kids! Having a family is rewarding most of the time!

Vacation is the best!

Last weekend we definitely had a fun filled weekend. Besides doing all the wedding stuff, we were able to spend a little bit of time in St. George with some of my family. Granted we did a lot of driving, but over all the kids did a great job in the car! On friday morning we got into St. George about 4am. We were able to get a little bit of sleep before the morning came. We let the kids just play with Sofia and all her fun toys. We got to have lunch with Aunt Jacie during her lunch break from work. We did some shopping for things we needed on Saturday. After having dinner and waiting for Uncle Danny to get off work we loaded the cars and headed to Manti for the wedding which was on Saturday.
The kids played outside for a while. The weather was beautiful! Sofia loved having Payton and Scarlett to play with. She was a little unsure of their craziness, but she got used to it quickly! Watching these two little girls play is very cute. With them only 4 months apart they are practically the same age. Sofia just doesn't talk quite as much as Scarlett, but she will soon enough.
Dawson, Payton and Josh even had some time to go to the comic book store. Josh found a few GI Joe comic books. Payton loves supporting Josh and his GI Joe love! Payton knows WAY MORE information about GI Joes than I do thats for sure!
Enjoying some lunch at Dairy Queen. Mostly Stef and I wanted the ice cream thats why we went there!
Stef and Dawson
Josh and Danny
Jacie and Scarlett
This is how the car ride to Manti went down. Josh, Danny, Dawson, and Josh were in one car. Stef, Me, Jacie, Sofia, Scarlett and Payton were all in the other car. Jacie had the privilege of sitting in the middle of Scarlett and Sofia. Payton sat in the way back. The drive was about 3 hours, and the kids definitely were done by the time we got there!
Josh, Payton and Uncle Jared
Once at the Hotel in Manti Scarlett stayed asleep! Sofia and Payton were way too excited to see Jared, grandma and grandpa! These two little kiddos were running around at 11pm. I am sure the other guest hated it! We did our best trying to stay quiet. In the morning grandpa and Dawson went and got some food for breakfast. We were kind of slow moving, but we did make it to the wedding on time.
Trying to get a picture of Jared with is nephew and 2 nieces before he became a married man and a father.
We were finished with all the wedding stuff Saturday around 5pm. We all loaded up and headed back to St George. We of course made sure we all had our green on since it was St Patricks Day. Once again the kids just played and we all relaxed!
Me with Sofia! I just love this little girl!
Scarlett with Aunt Jacie and then with Uncle Danny
Sunday we were able to all just enjoy a day not being in a car. We played games with the kids, ate, rested, and just enjoyed being together!
Scarlett putting stickers all over grandmas arm!
Dawson had to work Sunday night so we had an early dinner and then we got to celebrate his birthday since it was on the 22 of March.
Dawson and Stef!
Me and Payton! Stef and Josh!
Grandmas arm was entirely filled with stickers! The things grandparents do for their grandkids!
We all pitched in and got Dawson the one main gift he wanted!
A PS3! He totally knew what it was though! He got a game also to go along with it!
Sofia and Me (I had no makeup on and very little sleep)! Jacie and Danny the happy little couple!
These two little girls sure do know how to destroy a room! They look for anything and everything to play with!
Stef with Scarlett and Sofia in the little chairs!
Danny is the baby of the Cambra family so as you can see from this picture he still can't completely separate himself from mom. Now mom gets Danny and Jacie as her little attachments! Its a good thing they don't care that we make fun of them and they knew we love them.
I am bummed this picture turned out a little blurry because I think it's funny! Josh and Dawson are the two brother in laws and always will be. They are very good at making their presents known! We sure do love having them in the family!
Singing happy birthday to Dawson before he had to head off to work!
Scarlett fell asleep on grandpa! Grandpa decided he would have a little nap himself!
Payton was very obssessed with playing games all the time. I am pretty sure each person got to play a game or two with him. He loved it!
Before we all left to go home on Monday we made a quick trip to Costco to look at a few things and then headed to lunch to meet up with Aunt Stef on her lunch break from work.
I am sure many years from now these girls will look at all these pictures and think how annoying their moms were for always making them be cute together! Payton calls these two "The Babies". I know he is very excited to now have Ada in the family. Ada is Jared's daughter now and she is 4 months older than Payton. So basically they are the same age. No more will Payton have to always play with the babies. He and Ada will each other. It's a good thing they like each other.
The group at lunch!
Josh, Me, Sofia, Dawson, Stef, Dad, Payton, Mom, Danny, Jacie, and Scarlett
Brother Josh wasn't able to come back to St George with us because he need to get back up to Logan. We sure did miss him. Jared and Ashley were on their honeymoon so they were not invited. Ada was staying with her grandma in Pleasant Grove while Jared and Ashley were gone.
Like I said at the beginning the weekend was a ton of fun! It went quickly, but we each loved every minute that we got to be together. I am excited for the 2 knew additions into our family and look forward to us ALL getting together at Christmas time.
