Organized Food Storage

Last Monday Josh had work off for the holiday. I have been wanting him to make shelves in our closet under the stairs. He was finally able to build the shelves on Monday since he was off. The purpose of these shelves was mostly to get my food storage organized. There are other things that we keep in the closet, so these shelves are awesome, because I can actually see everything, get to everything easily, and not have to move things around all the time. I love my new shelves.
                                     BEFORE                                                      AFTER
I should have taken the before pictures with all the junk in it, but I totally didn't think about it. Just trust me it was unorganized and messy!
                                      BEFORE                                                       AFTER
I can't seem to have a post with out at least a few pictures of the kids. They were not much help with the shelves, but they enjoyed having Josh home from work and did what they could to help.
Payton absolutely loves GI JOES. He and Josh go into the GI JOE room at least a couple times a week.  If Payton had his choice he would go in every day. Once in a while Josh will let Payton bring some vehicles out of the room. Payton is getting a lot better at being very careful!!!

Baby #3 IS...

On Friday February 10th we went and had our first ultra sound for baby #3. This is something that Josh and I definitely agree on. We both HAVE to know what sex the baby is. We can not stand the anticipation and surprise. For those that know me, know that I have to be completely ready for the baby when it comes. Anyways...we went to our appointment and surprisingly the prep for this ultra sound was a lot easier than the last 2 for Mal. With both Payton and Scarlett they required me to drink 32oz. of water 1 hour before my appointment and not empty my bladder. With this little baby they have changed their guide lines and they only require 24oz. of water 1 water before the appointment. That 8oz. came a huge difference. With the first two I was dying walking up to the doctors office. The discomfort was horrible. Then once I was in and they began the ultra sound the pain just increased because they push on you with the wand thing and then finally let you go release some but not all 45 minutes into the appointment. With this baby really is was so much easier and not so dreadful. I know this seems dumb to most people, but honestly this is one big part of being pregnant that I never enjoyed.
ANYWAYS onto what the baby is...
BABY #3 is a GIRL!!!
We would be completely happy with either! Payton of course did not want another sister. He wanted a baby brother because he already has a sister. After the appointment we went and picked him and Scarlett up. Payton asked Josh what the baby is so Josh told him he was going to have another little sister. Payton just stood very still and didn't really change his facial expression. He didn't seem excited or sad. I don't think he knew what to think. Josh and I both proceeded to explain to him how lucky he is that its actually a girl and not a boy. We told him it meant more guy time with just Dad and Payton, also Scarlett would have to share all her girl toys, he will still be the only grandson on the Cambra side of the family which means he will continue to be spoiled, and he doesn't have to share the GI Joe room. After hearing all these things plus some others we was fine with having another sister. I think he is actually excited about having another baby in our family. We are all very thrilled and look forward to when she joins our family in July!!!

Sacramento Kings Game

For Christmas this year Josh got 2 tickets to a Sacramento Kings game. Josh loves most sports and was SO excited when he heard that Jimmer was going to be a part of the Kings team. He loves going to the games when ever he can, but this doesn't happen very often.
We were excited to go for a date night together. We got a babysitter for the kids and drove up to Sacramento to watch the game.
The game was against the Golden State Warriors!

Let the game begin!
Very intently watching
During half time we watched them warm up some more.
Which one is Jimmer in these 2 pictures?
Lets get this gaming going!
Our seats were pretty good. We were in box seats and it seemed quite private. There was maybe 15 of us total in our little box seats!
A Christmas present Josh got this year!
The game went into over time! 107 to 102 with 2 minutes and 47 seconds left in over time. Kings were winning!
With 23.3 seconds left Kings are up 114 to 104.
Game over! Kings win!!! 114 to 106.
It was a very exciting game! We both had a great time! Josh loved every second of it. One of his favorite Christmas presents! A great excuse to go out for a much needed date night! Thanks mom and dad for the gift!
