As a family we went and spent a whole day at Seven Peaks. I didn't take any pictures to document that day, but we had a fun time and everyone enjoying the water slides.
The last day together we took some family pictures, made a huge slip-n-slide at the park, played soccer and ultimate frisbee, went Yorbing, and had a BBQ with extended family.
After we did some family pictures we got out the huge slip-n-slide. Everyone had to show off and try different tricks.
We formed a line so everyone could take turns going down
We had someone standing at the top hosing people down and holding the hose to keep the water flowing down the slip-n-slide.
Josh and Scarlett taking their turn!
We think she liked it, but were not sure!
Things always turn into a competition...it started with just people going one at a time, then it become seeing who could go the farthest, then they started racing down two at a time, and then they decided to just form a really long line and have everyone just go down continuously.
Josh and Brady racing down with I believe Ryan coming up right behind them.
Josh and Scarlett. This time Josh let her go and tried sending her down part of the way by herself.
Payton didn't even change into his swimsuit. He just hung out on the side and played with rocks. He also took a pee break!
The next few pictures are of everyone going down in a line! It worked pretty good and was fun to watch.
Once we were all done slip-n-slidding we headed over to another park where we met up with extended family for a BBQ, sports, and yorbing.
Cousins just playing with the rocks while some of the adults play frisbee, and soccer.
Frisbee fun!
Scarlett just wondering around. It was quite warm and we were all very hot!

Payton, Carter, and Marlee getting hydrated!
Scarlett of course wanted a juice!
Soccer fun!
Ben, Packer, Cali and Payton
Josh and Payton
Mal didn't play in the sport games. She hung out with the parents, grandparents, and little kids. It was just way too hot!
Scarlett and Carter played with cousin Rose for a little while.
Just chilling!!!
Before it got to dark we had to go YORBING! Post people probably don't know what this is. It's where you get strapped into this GIANT inflatable ball with a partner and they give you a push and the ball goes rolling down the hill while you and a partner are strapped inside!
Justing getting the ball blown up takes a good 15 minutes!
Uncle Joel is the one that owns 2 of these Yorb balls. He only brought one out! The kids helped him while the ball got inflated. Joel and Brady are the Yorbing pros. They do a great job explain everything to you. You can look it up on facebook and 'like' it if you want. It's under Yorb Nation! If you live in Utah and you ever want to try this just contact my brother-in-laws Joel and Brady Robertson.
We all just chilled and waiting for the Yorb to be filled so we could start the fun!
Grandpa Johnson didn't Yorb, but he was willing to pose for a picture of him touching the Yorb.
For anyone that knows Mal at all knows that she HATES getting dizzy! Ever since she went through all those vertigo issues a year ago she has become very nervous and afraid of getting dizzy. The idea of getting strapped to a giant ball and having someone push her down the hill scared her so bad.
But...
she knew she couldn't let fear rule her life and stop her from doing something this amazing. Mal made sure that she was the first person to go because she knew if she watched anyone that she would chicken out. She and Aunt Carol (who had also never done this before) were the first two up. You have to leap yourself into this little hole of an opening and then you and your partner get strapped to the side of the ball across from each other. Mal was very nervous. It was very warm inside the Yorb and she had to keep telling herself that she would be fine and to just taking deep breaths. She did not want to cause herself to panic. Honestly...it would only last a minute and the dizziness would go away. It really wasn't a big deal!
At the bottom of this giant hill we had family members down there to help stop the ball once you were done rolling and to help you get unstrapped.
A before picture of Mal's back inside the ball before they give it a little push and they go rolling down the hill.
When you are flying down the hill you can feel yourself bounce as it goes. Once you get to the flat part and you are rolling thats when you feel it the most because you are slowing down so you feel yourself at the top of the ball, then you quickly fall down, then you roll back up, then quickly fall down. It seemed like Carol and Mal rolled forever. Once they finally stopped the ball for us Mal got herself quickly unstrapped and came tumbling out of the Yorb.
Next came Aunt Carol tumbling out of the Yorb.
Mal had a few things to say about her Yorbing experience. "I definitely screamed the whole way down. It was definitely worth doing and I am glad I did. At the time I would have told you I would never do that again, but a month and a half later I would say I may be willing to go again. I did feel dizzy, but I survived. I am really glad I didn't let my own fear stop me.'
Josh of course had his turn. He and his brother Michael went together. It was their first time also experiencing Yorbing.
Josh would tell you he loved it and it was a lot of fun. Michael was a little unsure about the way it made him feel, but he had a fun time.
We would both say over all our week with the family was a BLAST! We love being with our families and are so blessed to be so close with everyone. We look forward to the next time we all get to be together again. It better be sooner rather than later!
