Camping

Sometimes I just feel like I will never catch up. But I have to keep going! I do this for myself and for my kids.
After spending 2.5 weeks with my family in Utah we met up with Josh's family in Utah. We were so blessed to be able to have so much family time this whole summer. We spent a week with the Robertson clan. It was SO much FUN! The week began with everyone meeting up at Payson Lakes. We camped there for 3 days and 2 nights. It was absolutely the best possible camping site! We were able to get a group site since there was about 40 of us. We got the one at the end of the road so we had a lot of privacy. The kids were able to rome around and we had plenty of space. We were able to be loud and no one heard us. It was a ton of fun!!!
I really am so blessed to be a member of the Robertson Family. I always thought growing up in my family of 7 meant I was from a big family, but it's very small compared to Josh's family of 14. This simple family that was once just 14 has grown to 39 and will be 42 by February 2012. The neat thing is that all these people are just siblings and nieces and nephews. I love it!!! Any time we are all together it's just a huge party. The cousins all have SO much fun together. We are all very blessed to have each other. So being almost all together for a week was a ton of fun!
(we did miss Rob and Braden though, wish they could have come with us)
We got to see Uncle Sean right when we got to the campsite. He definitely looked older and taller, but he is still the same Sean. Scarlett wasn't sure of him at first, but by the end of the week she loved him. Payton was very nervous at first, but got over that!
We each got our tents all set up and got camp set up.
While we set up camp some of the cousins played with Payton and his legos on the air mattress on our private road.
Unloading all the supplies for just 3 days!!! Thank you Jana, Ben, and Ryan for getting everything planned, organized, and purchased.
Uncle John brought some salmon from Alaska and we grubbed on that. It was very yummy!
We roasted hot dogs and made pudgy pies for dinner.
Ryan brought his hammock and the kids of course loved playing on it.
Olivia, Carter, Marlee, and Aunt Tara!
Mal, Scarlett and Maddy relaxing around the fire waiting to eat our dinner.
Packer being the stud that he is!
Josh thinking he is tight!
Tracy and John comparing stomachs! Tracy also announced that they are pregnant with their first. We were all very excited for them! She is due in February I believe. We also ended up finding out another one of Josh's sisters is also pregnant! That makes 3 women in the family that are pregnant. Now if only they all had their wish and I was pregnant! Sorry guys not yet! Maybe eventually!
Scarlett being cute!
Payton digging with the hot dog roaster!
Brady, Ryan and Mal making breakfast!
Adorable!
Three-flie-up is a popular game that they guys enjoy playing. Every once in a while some of us ladies will join in.
I had to save the best picture for last. Shannon was so proud that she caught the frisbee! Go Shannon! Way to dominate the guys!

Home safe and sound

While the kids and I were still out in Utah, Elder Sean Robertson got home from his mission. Josh was back home working so he was able to go to the airport with some family to be there when Sean got off the airplane. The kids and I were sad we couldn't be there, but it wasn't realistic. Plus, the whole Robertson family would be getting together the following week in Utah. I was able to get some pictures from the family though when Sean came home.
Brotherly Love!
Josh, Brady, Sean, Joel and Kevin.
Uncle Sean with some nephews and nieces.
Bryce, Braden, Sean, Camden, Jaydn, Ella, Maddy, Carter and Olivia
Of course I have to post a picture of these two.
Sean and Shannon are twins. I just think they are so cute!
It's so fun to have family out on missions, but its even more fun when they come home. We love Sean and are so glad he is back home!

Fia turned 1

The day after the wedding was over we all got together with family and friends and celebrated Sofia's 1st birthday. It fun to be able to be there on Sofia's big day!
Auntie Mal had to by Sofia her birthday shirt!
It says, "Happy Birthday to me!"
Lunch time!
Present time!
Having a party at the birthday party!
Payton and Scarlett were obsessed with Scarlett's birthday present. The Cozy Coupe!
CAKE TIME!!!

Sofia loved the cake!
Rub-a-dub-dub Sofia isn't in a tub, but she acted like she was. She rubbed that chocolate cake all over her body and hair.
Scarlett had to join in on the fun!
The final look! Crazy little girl had chocolate cake everywhere! She loved it and that's the point. I just love this cute little niece of mine!
She will always know her Auntie Mal is her favorite Aunt!
