Danny and Jacie's Big Day

This post is a complete picture over load!!!!
But...I just love all the pictures and had a really hard time picking and choosing.
My youngest brother Danny (one of the twins) got married to Jacie on July 22nd, 2011 in the St. George Temple.
The wedding ceremony was wonderful. My parents and all of us kids got to be in the temple for the first time all together. It was a wonderful day.
Some friends of ours kept the 3 kids since they couldn't come into the temple. Once we were done they met us at the temple for pictures. Of course once I saw the kids dressed up I had to take pictures immediately. Payton and Scarlett looked VERY CUTE!
We all waited out side for Danny and Jacie to come out of the temple and make their first appearance as a married couple.

It's official!

The kids did a really good job during the pictures! It was so BLAZING hot out! They probably wouldn't of made it if they didn't have their drinks!

I JUST LOVE MY FAMLY!!!!
After the wedding we went and ate lunch with both families, then took the kids home for naps, then
headed to the reception.
Adorable cousins!
Josh and I are both SO IN LOVE with these two kids!
Having some of their own kind of fun at the reception!
Family pictures are my favorite!
The men were in charge of decorating the car. Payton was a really good helper!
They did a good job getting the car all decorated! I don't know that Danny and Jacie loved it 100%, but thats the point!
The cute little couple, their first official dance.
We had some fun dancing with the kids!
Saying good-bye at the end of the night! We were all so done by this point. Weddings cause for very long days! We all survived! Congrats you guys! Welcome to the family Jacie we love you!

The fun continues in Elmo

After spending two days in Salt Lake City shopping and getting things for Josh we headed back to my parents place. On our way back to my parents we stopped half way and went to this fun water park in Spanish Fork.
Josh and the 3 kids got their swimsuits on and played in the water fountains.
Stef and Sofia. Sofia wasn't quite sure what she thought about the water.
Josh playing with Scarlett and Sofia sitting back a little ways watching.
Scarlett is our little crazy girl! She definitely keeps us all smiling.
Stef had brought these little foam shapes, so Scarlett was putting them on the water and watching them fly off. The kids enjoyed that for a while.
As Payton had gotten older he has actually been more will to do a lot more fun things. He and Scarlett are complete opposites! He has decided just this year that he really loves playing in the water and he is very content going and playing without Josh or I right by his side.
Scarlett just relaxing with the momma!
At this point Josh was already back home and the kids and I were going to be spending the next week and a half visiting with my family in Utah.
Sofia was done with the fountains first so she and grandpa sat on the grass and she played in her bucket of water with her shovel.
Mother daughter snapshot!
Danny being lazy and sitting on the kids the stroller. He actually looks like he is sitting on one of those walkers that some people need to use.
Another mother daughter snap shot with cute Scarlett in the middle
My parents neighbors have a bunch of horse. They just recently bought this cute little pony for their grandkids to ride. They are very nice people and have been telling my parents for a long time that when the kids and I come to visit that they would let any of us ride their horses and Payton could ride the Pony. Payton being the person that he is was very afraid to ride the pony. We started off by having my dad walk around holding the Pony and had Payton help.
This still didn't change his mind. He was very nervous!
He was not afraid to feed the horse though. He thought it was really fun!
The only way we could even possibly convince Payton to get on the pony was Mal had to get on with him. Actually Mal had to get on and do a few laps around the front yard while grandpa was holding the rope leading them around. Once Payton saw that it was fine, he was willing to get on and ride with Mal.
Still very nervous even with Mal holding onto him!
Once we were done with the pony we got to all go over and ride some of the horses. The top picture is Danny riding! Jacie also rode, but Stef and mom refused too! We took them out to the open field right across the street.
Brother Josh on the horse!
He actually got the horse running pretty good. Mal and her dad went out also and Mal wasn't very good with the horse. She kept forgetting what to say to make the horse do things and she struggled with getting the horse to stop. Over all it was a very fun experience to ride the horses. Or families did not grow up around horses so its a whole new experience for us all.
One of the days the men went out golfing, so the women took the kids to the local wave pool. It was a lot of fun. The kids ended up really enjoying it. Scarlett hates her life jacket!
We rented a few tubes! Payton enjoyed playing in his!
He floated around in it for quite a while. He initially did not want to go to the other end once the waves started, but we forced him out there and he ended up loving it. He and Aunt Stef went out every time after that.
Scarlett on the other hand was falling and splashing all over the place. We thought she would be safer in her life jacket, but then realized that wasn't the best idea. When she would wear her life jacket she wasn't very stable in it. She struggled moving around and being able to be free like the enjoys doing in the water. So if she had the life jacket on and fell she would just roll over she would just end up rolling in circles in the water. She hated that! It was actually kind of funny to watch! She was definitely more stable with the life jacket off. It just meant we had to keep an even better eye on her.
Sofia loved the water also. He was very content staying connected to any of us.
Mal and the kids loving the wave pool!
Final picture in Elmo is of cute Miss Sofia! She was playing with the kitten here and thought it was so fun!
Over all our time we spent in Elmo was a blast. We loved being with family!!!
