Easter Weekend Part II

Sunday after we were all done with church we had an easter hunt in the grandparents backyard. These are all the little grandkids waiting to go look.
Still waiting!!!
Scarlett, Madalyn, Payton, Jaydn, Gabriella, Olivia
Scarlett enjoyed finding some but the excitement didn't last too long.
The kids out hunting for the eggs
Payton just scored one and is off to find another!
Josh trying to get Scarlett to pick up that egg and put it in the bag, but she is more interested in what is already in the bag.
Finding more and more
I just love this picture. She looks so cute!
Showing her dad that she found an egg!
On her way to take it to Josh and put it in her bag
Finding all the ones in the flower barrels
A few of the kids and everyone else out searching for eggs. It's so nice that Josh's parents have such a big/beautiful backyard so we can do fun things like this outside.
Payton on the run again for more eggs
Gabriella looking while wearing big girl panties, a shirt, and her church shoes.
Near the end the adults had to really start helping the kids look. Josh, Brady, and Kevin hide some eggs in some pretty tough places.
Scarlett taking a break to check out the skateboard!
Scarlett and Gabriella are 1 year and 2 months apart. In Gabriella's mind she thinks she is at least 4 years older than Scarlett. It's so cute to watch them try to play together. Gabriella tries to tell Scarlett what to do and Scarlett just does her own thing. They are super cute girlies and I know they will love playing together once they are about 3 and 4 years old.
Payton and Jaydn just stumped! They can't find anymore!
Still search for the last few eggs
Scarlett can now say 'cheese' for the camera. She is so stinken cute!
Like father like daughter. Scarlett has been a huge blessing in our family. She has really helped soften her dad!
The Kevin and Liz Robertson family kids.
Gabriella, Madalyn, Jaydn, Olivia
CUTE! family hug
Payton and Brady wanted to join in on the hugging fun.
The cousins with their Aunt Shannon, Uncle Brady, and Aunt Kelsey
Such a cute picture of them all!
All the family that was together on Easter minus Michael and the grandparents. What a fun time we had. We are so blessed to both have such amazing families.
Its fun to look at this picture and see only 5 of the Robertson kids out of 12. It's just crazy sometimes to think how HUGE Josh's family is!!! We LOVE it though!!! There is never a dull moment. We can't wait until all 39 (I think its about that) of us get together this summer. It's been too long lets just say July 2007. Families are amazing!!! We love each and everyone in both of our families!

Easter Weekend Part I

Over the weekend we headed up to Josh's parents house. We got to spend Easter up their with his parents, 3 brothers, 2 sisters, 1 sister in law, 1 nephew, and 3 nieces. It was a ton of fun. We just love being around our families. Payton and Scarlett loved playing with 4 of their cousins. Its nice that they all actually play really well together and get along. We really didn't have an major fighting! Super nice!
Saturday morning the cousins came over and we colored easter eggs. For us it was our second time obviously, but for the cousins it was their first for this year.
(Madalyn, Payton, Olivia, Gabriella, and Jaydn)
These kids loved it. They ended up mixing all the colors together.
They did get a few done before the mixing started happening.
As you can see Payton spilled some on the pink!
This was when the mixing of the colors began.
My little stud!
Unlike a few days back when we colored eggs as a family Payton had some green fingers for a couple of days. It wasn't a neat and clean this time around, but we also added 4 other kids into the mix.

Later that afternoon after we finished coloring eggs and eating lunch Payton and I went with his Aunt and Uncle and their kids to one of their friends house for an easter egg hunt. Their friends have tons of land so they invite a ton of people out to come and bring their kids for a BBQ and egg hunt. Each kids brings a dozen eggs and the parents hide them all over the front of their house.
There were eggs everywhere. I am not even sure how many kids where there but at least 40 or so I would say.
Payton loved it. He ran all over collecting eggs.
He accidentally dumped out his basket so his Uncle Kevin and cousin Olivia helped him pick them up.
The kids searching for those eggs.
Cousins Madalyn and Oliva. They are twins obviously. They are about a year and a half older than Payton, but they all get along really well.
Olivia and Payton showing me their findings.

We woke up Sunday morning and let the kids go find their easter baskets. Payton found all of ours, but he found his own last.
Payton looking through the basket and seeing what the easter bunny brought him.
 He loved everything he got!
Ready to start eating the candy!
Scarlett with her basket. She was a little bothered that she couldn't open the egg herself and get the candy out.
Showing off her cute new slippers and she has a mouth full of candy!
Still trying to figure out how to open the plastic eggs.
We were able to snap a few shots before and after church of everyone all dressed in their Sunday Easter outfits. Everyone looked very nice!
Josh with Payton, and Kevin with Jaydn. Currently these are the only 2 Robertson grand-boys to pass on the Robertson name!
Attempts at trying to get all the kids to sit together and take a cute picture.
Payton, Jaydn, Olivia, Ella, Scarlett and Madalyn
Ella whom is 2 really wanted baby Scarlett to sit on her lap during the picture. Unfortunately that doesn't really work cause they are pretty much the same size. These kids all looked super cute!
