Campout!

Last weekend Payton and Josh had a campout in the backyard. Payton was super excited! Josh has been wanting to do this with Payton for a while now, but needed to wait until the weather was nice enough. It was definitely a success and I am sure it will happen more and more now.
Josh and Payton working on setting up the tent.
Payton is such a big helper
All set up!
Scarlett thought for sure she was going to be able to be out there with the boys. She was able to play with Payton inside the tent for a little while before bed time.
Getting the beds all set up inside.
Everything is all set up inside.
My two little campers. All they really did was sleep in the tent. We put Scarlett to bed and Payton, Josh, and I watch a movie. After the movie was over the two of them went and slept in the tent.
This was in the morning while Josh was cleaning out the tent and taking it down.
These two just loved running around and playing inside the empty tent.
After the tent was all cleaned up and put away Josh and Payton went out and did some yard work. Payton wanted to help Josh mow the lawn. You can't really see them in these pictures but Payton is wearing headphones that people usually wear when they shoot guns. He hates loud noises!
They did a pretty good job.
It's quite nice to be able to spend Saturdays as a family. I am really enjoying having our weekends.

Time Out For Women

A few weeks ago I had the  privilege of going to Time Out For Women in Fresno. This is an event just for women 18 and older. They have inspirational speakers, and musical performances. I got to go with my friend Krista, her mom Dena, her 2 sisters Megan and Ashley, and her nephew Tyler (he's only 4 months old). The 5 of us women had a really nice time. We went down Friday day and stayed in a hotel. The event started Friday night. We got there just in time. That night was amazing! I don't think I have laughed and cried so much like I did that night. After it was over we went in search of some food. I can not believe how hard we had to really search, even with a GPS. We would follow the directions and once it said we were there we saw nothing, or it was completely shut down. We just ended up going to a Denny's that we had seen while driving around.
We woke up Saturday morning and headed to the convention center for another amazing day of speakers and music. It was over about 4 and we headed back home to our families.

Krista and I being nerds. For some reason this is Krista's favorite pose.

The events focus this year is "Choose to Become". I am so glad that I got to go. It's always nice to be able to get away and have sometime to be with other women and be able to realize that your life is no different than anyone else. Yes we all have different trials and challenges, but we think and feel quite the same. I can say for myself that going was what I needed. Like I said earlier I can't remember the last time I laughed and cried so hard. I needed that! The experiences I had while there are ones that have impacted my life and have made me change who I am and what I want out of life. I feel like over this last year I have grown a ton, not in body size, but as a person. The best part is knowing this change has been for the better and has made me an even happier person. I really appreciate Krista for coming up with the idea of going to Time Out For Women. She is a great friend and I appreciate all that she and I have gone through and will continue to go through as friends.
I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints is the only true church on this earth today. I am so thankful for all that the church offers everyone. The programs, events, support, love, activities, and much more that I have experienced throughout my life in the church have been amazing! I love this time of year to be able to focus on my Savor and His Resurrection. I have a testimony of Jesus Christ and my Father in Heaven. I know President Monson is a prophet of God. I know the Bible and Book of Mormon are both a testament of Jesus Christ. I am so thankful for all that I have in my life! I am very blessed!
That weekend at Time Out For Women really helped me feel rejuvenated! I can't wait to be able to go again!

A typical day in the Robertson home!

Our lives these days are spent at home quite a bit. The kids and I have been having a fun time together. I quite enjoy being at home and be 'lazy'! There are many days that I stay in my jammies until 5pm. I refuse to take a shower until after I have done my workout video. So far it has worked out nicely. I am on day 35 of working out! I am actually really addicted. I think about the workout all the time and how awesome it makes me feel. I swear I have never sweated so much in all my life. Anyways enough about me. The kids and Josh are doing great. Scarlett has gone from 2 teeth to almost 8 in 2 months. Payton is obsessed with Star Wars. Josh is the same working hard. He has his first 11 year old scout camp out next week. He is enjoying working with the 11 year olds at church.
I always have random pictures of our daily life so I thought I would share.
 The studs of the family
Scarlett loves being outside. She likes to eat dirt also!
Scarlett also likes to play with this bike. She can't ride it, but she likes to think that she can.
I tried so hard to get a cute picture of Scarletts toes because she actually let me paint them. I think that she looked super cute in her sandals also.
About 2 weeks ago I watched my friends 2 boys while the dads went to priesthood session of general conference. It was decent weather so I made them all go outside and play in the dirt.
 I love this picture!
Here they are just playing and having a good time.
 Scarlett swinging on the swing.
She didn't quite laugh, but she didn't cry either.
 Payton looking so old!
Payton loves eating sour cream and chips. While eating this for lunch the other day he decided it would be a good idea to rub the sour cream all over his face and hair. I can not believe kids do these types of things. They crack me up.
People ask me quite often if Payton and Scarlett play well together. These pictures say it all!
They actually do play really well together. They torture each other in their own ways. Payton loves to wrestle with her and Scarlett likes to purposely do things or take things away from him.
I would say that the majority of the time I hear lots of giggles, but someone usually will start crying at some point.
These two kids bring lots of joy into my life. I love them so much.
We call Scarlett a TELLA TUBBY when she wears these jammies! She just looks so cute in them!
I made some homemade blackberry jam the other day and Payton quite enjoyed it. You can see it all over his face! He is the best kid ever when he gets enough sleep and is happy!
I am so thankful everyday for both Scarlett and Payton in my life. I know I don't post very many pictures of Josh but I am very grateful for him and love him with all my heart.
I have an amazing family!
