Our special visitors

This past weekend we had some amazing visitors! My sister, my brother in law, and my new niece. We are so glad they came to visit. I know they mostly came so Sofia could meet her great grandma's, but we are so glad they came.  We had such a nice time with them. Sofia is so cute and a beautiful baby girl. She is 6 weeks old and about 11 lbs. Stef and I have decided that Scarlett and Sofia are going to be the bestest of cousins since they are only about 4 months apart. They look nothing alike! Sofia has so much hair and is still skinny, Scarlett on the other hand is way bald and chunky! Payton just loved Sofia. He knew she was coming and was excited to meet his new baby cousin. He always wanted to hold her and he thought it was so fun when he got to hold both the baby girls at the same time. He is such a big boy. I just hope these girls are not too mean to him when they get older.

Beach Fun

      About a week ago Josh and I took the kids to the beach. We have decided that since we don't live far from the beach that we need to make sure our kids get to go as often as we can. I was very excited about this. We got everything packed up and ready. It was a BEAUTIFUL day! The kids really enjoyed it. We got a great parking spot and didn't have to pay for anything. I thought for sure I had a brand new battery for the camera for this super fun day. Well we got all settled in and I went to take some pictures. I got one of Payton and the camera said the battery was dead. I was able to get it on to get a picture of Scarlett.  Then it was officially dead! I was so sad that I couldn't get fun pictures. I guess at least I got these two!

       

Payton really enjoyed playing in the sand. He discovered how fun it was to get covered with the sand . It started with his feet and them he got more brave and eventually it was all the way to his neck. I got him to go to the ocean with me, but he didn't really like that. It was too cold and a little too much for him. maybe next year he will enjoy it more. 

Scarlett was really good. She sat under her umbrella the whole time. She played with toys, ate, and slept a little. 

Robertson Family Fun

These past few weeks have kind of busy and kind of lazy. Josh and I have been trying to get the kids out and do fun things when he has days off. They both just keep growing and changing all the time. Payton is getting smarter all the time. He learns new things all the time.  Scarlett is officially 6 months today. She is 19 pounds. Looking back at stats from Payton at 6 months they are the same, she is just a half inch shorter than he was when he was 6 months old.

Scarlett laughs at Payton all the time. They get along pretty good. She loves her older brother.

A week or so ago my brother Jared came and visited. We all really enjoyed having him around. Payton loves his uncles. Payton also loves to match anyone and everyone. He was able to convince his uncle to find matching outfits for the two of them. They are so cute!

One day when it was REALLY hot we went to cold stone and ate ice cream. Scarlett could not get enough ice cream. She has never had ice cream till this day. She loved it!

As you can see Payton loved it also. He picked some cotton candy ice cream for himself and I got dark chocolate. He wanted a taste of mine so I let him and he didn't want to give it back. He mostly just liked the color of his, but really I tasted it and it really wasn't very good.
