Last Wednesday Josh, Payton and I had the privilege of going to the San Francisco airport to see Brady. He had a lay over in San Francisco for 2 hours before heading off to Chico. Brady has been serving a mission in North Carolina for the last two years. We have only been able to write and he was only able to call home twice a year. We were so excited to see him. When he left Payton was about 5 months old. It took Payton a little while to get used to him, but not really too long before he was trying to always get Brady's attention. We got to hang out for about 3 hours before his plane left. It worked out kind of nice since his plane to Chico was about an hour behind.
Brady looks the same to us just older now. We were able to talk and catch up on our lives. You can tell just by talking to him that he was an amazing missionary. He has so many amazing stories. We missed him tons, and its nice having him back home. He has grown up so much and we are so grateful for him and all his other uncles for the examples they have each set by going on a mission. This past Sunday he spoke in church and the spirit was incredible. He did such an amazing job. He was nerves at first but then after 2 minutes he was calm. He could have talked for hours I am sure. Everyone just loved listening to him. I just love to look at him and see how much his testimony has grown and how much he has grown personally. We love Brady tons and hope he knows how wonderful of a person he is.
Walking to go wait for Brady
Payton drawing Brady a picture on the sign we made
Payton entertaining himself while we wait. He thought he was the funniest thing ever.
Me just waiting!
Payton took this picture. Not too bad.
Payton is not very good at smiling, but Brady looks good!
WELCOME HOME BRADY!!!
