Another Project at our House

For anyone that knows me knows that I love doing projects. I am not sure that Josh would feel the same way, but he is a good trooper and always helps me out. Our most recent project was Paytons room. We had to make his room special so that we could move him out of our room. We did a little painting, Josh made him a bunk bed, and we got him  GI Joe bedding. The room turned out amazing!!! Payton loves it. He has been sleeping in it for the past week and we are so happy about that.
I would have to say the bunk bed turned out amazing. I have a very talented husband who can build pretty much anything. He had a little help from my dad while my dad was here, but my dad would even tell you Josh did most of the work. I feel very blessed to have a husband who enjoys doing these little projects I suggest to him. He is the best husband ever and I love him more than ever for working so hard.  I don't think there is anything he can't do!

The top color (a green color)

The bottom is a brown color

Josh and my dad were very meticulous about getting the stripe just right

The stripe is a dark green

We went for the GI Joe look as you can tell

The Building of the Bed

Payton was such a good helper with his tool belt, goggles, hat, and boots.

Josh is so AMAZING!!!

My dad showing Josh how to use the new router we gave my dad for his birthday

All the pieces before being all put together.

The bed had to be finished being built in the room.

Payton loved climbing to the top.

Josh sanding the bed and getting it ready to be painted

The finished product. Not the best picture but you get the idea!

Our Last Christmas Celebration for this Year!

About a week ago my parents came to visit. Since we were not able to see them for christmas they came after. We had such a wonderful time with them. My dad was here for a week and my mom was here for the weekend. Unfortunately during their time here Josh, Payton and I had a terrible cold. We were still able to do almost everything. We just didn't sleep the best. I would say this has been the worst cold we have ever had. We are all still coughing from it and it's been a good two weeks.
Other than being sick we had such a wonderful time. Payton loved having his grandparents here. He definitely got spoiled. Grandpa made him whatever he wanted. Lets just say he is the favorite for now, at least till I have this little girl and my sister has her baby.

Payton loved his grandpa playing with him. He always wanted grandpa to wrestle with him, hide with him, play football with him, and play trains. They both enjoyed each other.

Payton got this awesome rain outfit from his grandparents. He thinks its fun to wear. Now that its raining he actually gets to go out in them. We are still trying to teach him how to jump in the puddles though.

He of course loved helping everyone open their presents.

He go these from his grandparents. He loves to wear the goggles and hat. He is a goofy kid.

He and Josh both got tool belts. Payton loves to be just like his dad. He now has tools just like his dad.

Aren't they just so cute!

Payton was able to convince grandma to play soccer with him.

While they were here we celebrated mine and my dads birthday.

This is Payton and his grandpa hiding together.

Really a bad picture of me!!! I had no make-up on, didn't do my hair and didn't feel very good, but this was my birthday cake. I had a pretty good birthday and it was nice that my dad had to stay a few extra days cause he got to be here for my birthday. I love my parents and appreciate all that they have done for Josh, Payton and I. We love you guys! We can't wait to see you again when the baby is due. (Less than 7 weeks)

The Last of the Robertson Family Fun

I just realized that I hadn't finished blogging about our trip to Oroville a few weeks ago. Our family has been sick every since we came back, and once I got this horrible cold I dropped the ball on a lot of things and unfortunately my blog was one. I guess I have some things to catch-up on.
These are the last of the pictures from our Robertson christmas fun. They are pictures of the fun Payton had with his cousins.

Uncle Joel made this amazing teeter-totter for the parents backyard. Payton loved it.

He and Madalyn had a fun time playing on it together. They were out there for days. Payton is just starting to learning to use his feet to make him push up.

This is he and Madalyn playing another fun game together in the backyard. Maddy is just so great cause she likes to play with him and he is nice to her. She is almost 4 so he thinks she is so cool cause she is older of course.

This is one of Paytons naps he had. This one he enjoyed it with Bentley.

Carter and Payton watching a movie together.

The kids for some reason loved playing in this basket and pushing each other around. They were cute!

I am not sure if this is Madalyn or Olivia (Liz I apologize you can correct me on this), but Payton loves them both the same. I just think this picture is so cute.

Packer, Benji and Payton enjoyed playing play-dough together.

The kids got to hit the monkey pinata on new years day. Payton has never hit one before, but he figured it out and enjoyed it very much.
