Glass Beach and Sand Dollar Beach

While in Fort Bragg we got to go to two different beaches. This first one is Glass Beach. The kids enjoyed that and the parents liked that they didn't get all sandy since there is no sand and it's all just glass.
Everyone collected some glass to take home and do some art projects with. It's been alsmost three weeks and I still have all ours in the same water bottle. Some day we will do something with them.

This is Sand Dollar Beach. We had such a great time in Fort Bragg. Payton still asks for his cousins all the time. Sand Dollar Beach is so fun. We were there all day. The kids got so sandy. I really hate sand and hated seeing the kids eat everything with sand on it, but I guess thats what kids do.

GI Joe

For those of you who know my husband then you know he LOVES GI Joes. He has a whole room all to himself that is fully loaded with GI Joes. He has been collecting them since he was a kid and he just loves buying more and more to add to his collection.
Ever since Josh heard that a GI Joe movie was going to be made he has been SO EXCITED. I swear he has been telling me the day for over a year. All his friends knew. It just so happened that his family was all going to be together the week the movie came out. So of course Josh came up with the idea that we would all HAVE to dress up as an original character. At first I didn't think it would actually happen. As July approached his siblings actually were calling him and asking him for help on their costumes. So August 6th 15 of us dressed up went to the movies and saw the midnight showing of GI Joe. We had a great time.
(minus the fact that I am a bad wife and fell asleep the last 30 minutes of the movie)
Thank you everyone that went with us. Josh appreciated the family support. It meant a lot to him to have some of his siblings, some in-laws, and some niece and nephews there with us.
